You can wear long skirts, black suits, and doilies....and still go to Hell. If you haven't accepted Jesus as Lord you are lost, holiness starts on the inside when the Holy Spirit creates a clean heart in us. The only good thing in a Chritians is Jesus on the inside, our righteousness is like filthy rags.

Mark,

Its less of saying "I accept him", and more of,"I repent of my sins, and I turn to Yehwah through Yeshuah."
You cannot truly repent until you first BELIEVE James, it is GRACE and FAITH that gives us the MIND to REPENT!
Mark,

We receive grace because of the Torah's curse. There's no condemnation to those who are truly in Yeshuah. We place our trust in Him for our salvation. Then, we are to walk in obedience(Torah).
Justification is the work of God where the righteousness of Jesus is reckoned to the sinner so the sinner is declared by God as being righteous under the Law (Rom. 4:3; 5:1,9; Gal. 2:16; 3:11). This righteousness is not earned or retained by any effort of the saved.
People in cults don't understand the difference between justification and sanctification. Therefore, they must depend upon a cooperative effort with God to have their sins forgiven which is, essentially, combining the filthy works of man (Isaiah 64:6) with the holy work of God. They don't mix. They can't. Hence, salvation is by grace through faith, alone. To believe anything else is to miss salvation.
u>Mark, any sinner can say that he believes in "the Lord Jesus Christ" but one step prevents him from becoming a child of God.

Repentance is the first step!

Acts 2:38
Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

The whoremongering musicians who wear the large crosses at the music awards, or the openly gay musicians in the churches, are cases in point.

Unless one repents they can claim that they have faith, they can appear to 'walk the walk" but their declaration of faith must be joined with REPENTANCE and BAPTISM.

Do you therefore contradict the Lord's brother, James, as he plainly states "Faith without works is DEAD"?

Jas.2
[20] But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
[26] For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
[21] Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
[24] Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
[25] Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?

The JUST shall live by his FAITH.

Mark, how does a man become just before God, if not by repentance? A Godly repentance is repentance from SIN - from breaking God's law.

Have you not read, Jesus and his disciples PLAINLY teach that you must DO the will of the Father to be saved:

Matt.7
[21] Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Matt.12
[50] For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother
.

Mark.3
For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.

John.4
[34] Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.

John.5
[30] I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

John.6
[38] For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
[40] And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Eph.5
[17] Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
Eph.6
[6] Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;

Col.4
[12] Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.

1Thes.4
[3] For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:

2Tim.1
[1] Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus,

Heb.10
[36] For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

1Pet.2
[15] For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:
1Pet.3
[17] For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.

1Pet.4
[2] That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

1John.2
[17] And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

The will of God is to keep His Commandments.
That is the definition of a saint and by keeping of the same is how we enter the kingdom:

Mark, faith in Jesus is not enough, otherwise John the Revelator is a liar:

And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Revelation 12:17.

12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. Revelation 14:12.

" Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Revelation 22:14

Notice the verbs in the above texts, "DO & KEEP"! We are under obligation to OBEY God's commandments.

OF course if you reject anyone in the NT that contradicts your interpretation of Paul, then you will reject Jesus' as well as John's inspired writings.

God defines holiness, and without keeping His commandments, holiness cannot be obtained.
You cannot truly repent until you first BELIEVE James, it is GRACE and FAITH that gives us the MIND to REPENT! Romans 12:1 can't work until you are Born Again, after conversion repentance is lasting and possible, NOT by might NOR by power, but BY HIS SPIRIT!
You still don't get it Mark.

Mark, give the the text that says

"it is GRACE and FAITH that gives us the MIND to REPENT"

Acts 20 indicates that REPENTANCE comes first, faith follows:

[19] Serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews:
[20] And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house,
[21] Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

Once again, you must have REPENTANCE for your sins against God, which includes each of the 10 commandments, then you must have faith in Jesus, this parallels what I just shared with you in Revelation:

12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. Revelation 14:12.

You can't get around it Mark, you must 1) REPENT of breaking God's commandments, have the faith of Jesus. Your faith in Jesus is only HALF of what the Bible requires of you.

Zecharias, John father spoke the following regarding HOLINESS:

Luke.1
[75] In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.

Did the definition of HOLINESS change when Jesus died? Please share with me from what scriptures you get your position.
Anna why did Jesus tell Peter..."After you are CONVERTED, strengthen your brethren", Anna I don't disagree that repentance (Change of mind) is needed, but ONLY a BORN-AGAIN person has the ability to truly walk away from sin, the new birth takes place upon BELIEF, no Anna YOU don't GET it because you are focused on HUMAN works and NOT the WORK of Jesus on Calvary!
Remember Philip and the Ethiopian? The man asked Phillip what is keeping me from being baptized, Philip asked him "DO YOU BELIEVE THAT JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD?" Belief is essential to EVERYTHING!
Mark, unfortunately for you, you are not teaching what Jesus taught. There will be many who come to Him on judgement day, providing proofs that they were believes trying to give evidence that they should be in the kingdom. What BASED UPON WHAT ARE THEY REJECTED???? BECAUSE THEY DO NOT KEEP GOD'S LAW!

New International Version (©1984)
Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'

Young's Literal Translation
and then I will acknowledge to them, that -- I never knew you, depart from me ye who are working lawlessness.

Mark & the other Pauline belivers, you can disagree with what I am presenting, but you are not disagreeing with me but with Jesus himself. I guess you also also refer to Jesus as a JUDAIZER. Didn't Jesus teach everyone to keep God's commandments? It is YOU who are teaching contrary to Jesus' teachings..

I teach nothing but what Jesus taught himself. If you feel otherwise, give me the scriptures that show I am contradicting HIM. Think hard, look very closely and carefully you won't be able to find any texts where I am contradicting Him.

Please also define that term Judiazer, from the scriptures in your next message....

Jesus plainly taught the keeping and teaching of His Father's commandments, it is YOU who are teaching people to break them:

New International Version (©1984)
Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

New American Standard Bible (©1995)
"Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

International Standard Version (©2008)
So whoever sets aside one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven. But whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven

GOD'S WORD® Translation (©1995)
So whoever sets aside any command that seems unimportant and teaches others to do the same will be unimportant in the kingdom of heaven. But whoever does and teaches what the commands say will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

King James Bible
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

American King James Version
Whoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

American Standard Version
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
For if the inheritance is based on law, it is no longer based on a promise; but God has granted it to Abraham by means of a promise. Galatians 3:18

It was not through law that Abraham and his offspring received the promise that he would be heir of the world, but through the righteousness that comes by faith.

For if those who live by law are heirs, faith has no value and the promise is worthless, because law brings wrath. And where there is no law there is no transgression.

Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham's offspring--not only to those who are of the law but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all.

Romans 4:13-15

All who rely on observing the law are under a curse, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law."

Clearly no one is justified before God by the law, because, "The righteous will live by faith."

Galatians 3:10-11

That is, it is not the children of the flesh who are children of God, but the children of the promise are regarded as descendants. Romans 9:8

See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.
Colossians 3:8

When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature,[b] God made you[c] alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.[d]
Colossians 3:13-15

Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day.

These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ.

Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you for the prize. Such a person goes into great detail about what he has seen, and his unspiritual mind puffs him up with idle notions.
Colossians 3:16-18
