What does "so called church people" mean?
I've seen this statement thrown out there several times here on the BPN, and quite honestly I'm a little worried and bothered by it. Do you not know what your saying when you say this?
Matthew 16:18
And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
1 Cor. 1:2
Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:
Ephes. 5:23-25
For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. [24] Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. [25] Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
When we talk about the church we are talking about something that does not belong to us, it belongs to Christ so you cant "so-called" be a part of it you either are or are not. And if you are you are taking a direct shot at God. So PLEASE somebody tell me what do you mean when you say it?
