Why is there a need for a license to preach the Word of God?

Hi Saints,

A couple of us were dicussing about needing a license to preach or to preach a furneral.  Well my statement was, they did not have a license in the Bible so why now.

1.) Is having a license a traditional factor made up by man?

2.) Does one need a license to uphold a title?

3.) Why do a pastor need a license?  Is it because he or she is running a non-profit organization?  Is it because one is getting paid?

There is no where in the Bible that God said that one needs a license.

Why should one need a license to deliver the Word of God or to do a Funeral.  I understand that many have a license but if God truly have equip one to deliver his Word why are we adding a license?  God never did but what I do know is that God has equip that individual to deliver what God has sent them out to deliver.
