Why people dont believe Jesus is Lord Today

We are living in a age of postmodernity were faith has been replaced by scientific reasoning. The abandonment of the foundaitonal teaching of God Word with philosophy, vain deceit, tradition of men and rudiments of the world according to (Col. 2:8). Man has corrupted and prostituted his mind towards an existentialist way of thinking. The individual must create his own meaningful reality or morality without God. When paul wrote to the Colossians he was addressing a world of false mysticism of beliefs, in the gods of Zesus, Dionsysus, Artemis, etc, False teaching of Gnosticism, Judaziers, and those who wanted to continue to live under the bondage of the Law. Paul affirm that the only real fulfillment in life is through the Redempting Blood of Christ. For in him dwell the fulness of the Godhead and power for living.

There's much falseness in the world that shields the truth from people. So much of the truth of Elohim's word is so caked up with fences around it--blocking the very words of life. Pagan temple worship, god of wine(dionsysus), female goddess artemis, ruled the lifestyle of the Greco-Roman world. Virtually all of Sha'uls letters were issue involving the Greco-Roman lifestyle. We as the Talmidim of Yahushua were to remain practical in the Law of Elohim.

Gnosticism, and legalism were very popular false teachings of 1st century palestine. It threaten the very gospel of Yahushua---that we are saved by grace, through faith, and not be works, and higher supreme knowledge. Judaizers of Sha'uls letters, preferably Galatians, were ones that taught that you have to become Jewish(be circumized) to be saved. It was not so much so bring them back under the bondage of the law, rather, to bring them under legalism for their salvation.

Yahushua & His Talmidim commanded us to keep the law of Elohim, for keeping it shows our fear, and our love for Elohim(1 John 5:3). The main problem in many of Sha'uls letters, preferably Galatians, was the false teaching of salvation through the law. We are saved by Yahushua, and we obey him by practice the law of Elohim.
