Witnessing through sharing stories and importance of prayer 3
A lot of Christians are still bound by their past failures, past sins, guilt and materialism. They need to get rid of these things, or their witnessing will not be effective. Many believers are bound by traditions. let us pray for our own deliverance daily and then those who we witness to can go free also.
Many believers are still bound by bad habits. That's why the non-believers don't want to listen to such witnesses, they don't see any light in such Christians.
Galatians 5: 17 : “For the flesh lust against the spirit, and the spirit against the flesh and these are contrary the one to the other, so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.” Therefore, we must not witness while we are in the fleshh, but get in the Spirit first by prayer and supplication. Witnessing for God and arguing about salvation are two different things. The Bible tells us to avoid arguments.
