Over the years, I have heard many men and women in the holiness denominations say that women shouldn't wear pants in the church.

Were is the scripture to support the ideology that women shouldn't wear pants? If it is in scripture then I would have to ask why are men wearing pants? Did men wear pants in biblical times or did their wear something that covered their loins and then long robe like attire? I mean isn't that what you depict in your biblical plays? So why aren't the men being asked to wear similar apparel in the church to maintain a outward appearance of holiness? Why aren't they asked to not cut their hair (both facial and head)

What are the clothing designations for men in the holiness denominations.

After all, without holiness NO man/woman shall see God.....

You say

"You " prefer to see women wearing dresses in church, what exactly do you mean by that?

I dont know about coming to church with them skirts on and stuff...When you showing your legs the men will get aroused(bad things will enter the mind) and you are helping defile the morality of the church
What planet do you live on? lol
Take no offense brother, your

" modern day sisters will say ,"Why should MY RIGHTS be quashed just for those WEAK minded carnal men, where are the REAL men of God who are not effected by our bear leggs and beared chest and butts that you can rest a drink of water on..."? lol,lol,lol,lol...ok that is probably a little much ...lol,...but you get my drift peep's.....lol"

statement made me laugh as well, see it takes me 24/7 to keep me in check, I thought that was the case for my brothers as well
Men are but men with animalistic urges so you cant really blame them for behaving in the ways they are programmed
My first point God made women Bea- t-ful so men will look at you no matter what you have on, before I married my wife she just wore skirts and still do, but I didn't just marry her because she look sexy

This gone get me in trouble with the "Apostolic People" but truth is still truth.

If you have your bible turn to Det 22:5-12, lets pray, Father in the name of Jesus please have your way on BPN so we can do your will, in Jesus name amen.

The women shall not wear that which pertaineth to a man, neither shall a man put on a womens garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God. ... that which pertaineth to a man, is talking about things that men ware, Like: Men ball caps, men jerseys, just men pants, jackets, hoodys, sag like men, shirts, Man I need to blog about this, this going to be long,

Read verse 11 Thou shalt not wear a garment of divers sorts, as of woolen and linen together.

Divers means: Different, in this case you can't mix cotton and polyester, and silk and the rest of them, it has to be all Cotton or all Silk or all Polyester or we in trouble, if you go by Det 22:5 you got to do the whole law of Moses, To answer your question women can wear pants "Yes"

At the same time women got to dress becoming saints and you know if your attire is too tight or your showing to much back or legs or feet, and please, please don't ware your pants tight, As a Man we will look but don't give us that excuse, ladies please, please help us be saved. Women shouldn't ware pants to church, my own opinion.

By Every Word Of God We Live!!! Be bless Evang, Curtis, in Jesus name and keep preaching "JESUS"
WOW...how in the world did you get a Yes from the stuff you posted? What is amazing to me about this post is that you all are explaining scripture based on the roman understanding of religion...in other words YOU CHANGE THE WORD OF THE MOST HIGH based on what MAN has said...for example...

people will say that because MAN invented pants for women then that makes them "Women's pants" but was that an invention of Yah or those in a quest to bring so-called equality between men and women?

Ask yourself why is it that "womens pants" were not invented till thousands of years after Yah gave that instruction in Torah....People cry "SHOW ME IN SCRIPTURE WHERE WOMEN CAN'T MAKE PANTS" Most of you know the scripture and have posted it that talks about not wearing what pertains to the other gender....

You are relying on what the world has decided is good for a man or woman to wear....Scripture is very clear WHEN pants were made AND who they were made for....search and you will find...and if not I will be glad to post the scripture....You are speaking tradition that brings disobedience to Yah...The answer is NO...

Most of you don't know what a Law is and what we are to obey Yah's law still stands and it's only evil that tries to ignore Yah's Torah....

The answer is NO...so-called womens pants were invented to cause the very confusion that we see when this topic is brought up (and yet again here it is).

Pants, britches, trousers were invented why before our time FOR MEN!!
Just cause the pagan evil world and religious minds want to continue to change the Law of the Most High does not mean you have to go for it...

My brother you have spoken and I bear your idea, the bible is mysterious and we are out of the old Law of Moses an eye for an eye. But still we were born of sin. Temptations is bond in us human being precisely men. From the creation of man in the Garden of Eden, it was the same weak vessel the women that allowed in the devil, so women should help us. We love you people in Christ or worldly, but that should not make the men to be so lose.
Women can wear pants, but it depends on your motive. We still have the Jezebel among us.
I love you all.

what's the difference between a tight dress etc., and a pair of pants being worn to church? no difference if both are tight.

.You were very wrong with your interpretation of Det.22:5; it has, nor is it speaking of what a woman wears; its telling the Isrealites to not do what they will see the current people living in the land of milk and honey do.

Det 22 PERIOD! iis talking about homosexuality and cross dressing - READ IT!. . .

God did not create a man like that

again: what planet are you from
