Beloved,

I am an Ordained Minister, the Lord called me both to Preach and Teach His Word in 1997.

My call to serve was first recognized at Faith Mission Christian Fellowship Church in Harlem, New York back in 1988 when I was called to the office of Deacon. Since then I have served in Ministry at Bethel Bible Church in Carrolton under Dr. Willie Peterson, Vickery Baptist Church in Dallas, and now I serve faithfully in the capacity of Sunday School Teacher at First Baptist Church of Hamilton Park in Richardson.

I became unemployed in April of this year, after several years in the secular workforce in various Administrative capacities. I find myself now praying about a possible Ministry position, which is the reason I am submitting this post. Quite honestly this is a step of faith for me, and I'm not sure how it will turn out.

I am of the opinion that the structure is pretty much set in most of the larger Churches, but I know that often in the smaller, and newer Churches Ministry positions occasionally arise. I do not sense the Pastoral calling at this season in my life, but I know that the Lord may have need of me elsewhere, even though it would not be a joy to leave my current Church since I admire my Pastors, and am very active with the Singles, and in the Teaching Aspects of the Ministry.

I am at heart an honest and a practical man so I'll just be honest and practical with you. I'm not sure if losing my job was God's calling card to me to now after 40 years of secular service to devote the remainder of my working years to serving Him full-time. I only know that where He guides, He provides. I am a gifted writer, a halfway decent Preacherrand have been called a pretty good Teacher. I have great Administrative and Communications skills. My services may be required somewhere in the Body of Christ and I'm just putting the word out that I'm available to be used in His Service.

I guess this may be considered a little unconventional by some, but I pray that you don't take my unusual method as a window into my heart. I have noticed that others use these forums to promote many, many different things....so perhaps mine is not a "first" in this regard.

I am being prayerful about this, obviously seeking the Lord's direction and that His perfect will be done. I welcome your prayers, and you may feel free to call me on 214-938-7830, or email me at amakky3@sbcglobal.net.

God Bless You all.
