Christians packing Heat...Should saints have guns?

This is a topic a buddy and I were discussing the other day whether or not a christian should own a gun for home defense and protection or even sport. What do you think? TW

It is my opinion that there is nothing wrong with a Christian having a Gun for protection of their home. Yes as Christian we should put our faith in God and allow him to fight our battles. Owning a gun does not make a person less of a christian. God gave us a brain and the right to make a choice. As a person of God it is not your untention to take a life or harm another but you should be able to protect yourself and your family. I do not believe that God wants us killing each other but I do not believe that God wants us to be ignorant to the fact that not all men are not of God and we must do what we must to presere and protect our way of life.
