I have conducted many consultations and trainings involving conflict only to find that so many of them were unnecessary and avoidable if those in leadership had considered the readiness of God's people before committing them to battle. All of this work week we have been led by the Holy Spirit to focus on the topic of faith. What better way to conclude such a topic than be sharing a true story regarding one of the most well known preachers in history (John Wesley). It has been reported that the great preacher John Wesley took a brief walk with a troubled man. Precious child of God, I love the Lord, I love my family and I love my ministry! The Church which I pastor, Heaven Centre Church, belongs to Christ! I take an obligation to do what the Lord told me to do in my ministry; that is preach and teach His Word to the flock entrusted to me and pray and counsel them as the Spirit enables me!
I have also come to realise that God gives me the anointing but I develop the character bit of it! I am glad His word teaches this character! The children God gives us watch the anointing at work but taste our sweet character as we give them quality time, loving them, caring for them and praying with them! If we are humble, loving, honest, prayerful, caring, etc they will be so and they will enjoy our God and love Him!
