NEW BEGINNINGS!

I've come a long way since a year has passed.
I've been baptized and set free and now I stand fast.

I praise the Lord today for hearing my prayers, thoughts, needs, and wants.
Since He's the only one I can rely on, He's become my confidante.

He has picked me up from my pits of desperation,
He cleaned me off from the blood of the lamb without hesitation,
He showed me His light for inspiration and let me know I've been re-born without no limitation.
So I move forward with determination, knowing that I have an obligation that only through His communication will I receive revelation.

I think back on how my soul was flawed and now it's been re-newed only by an act of God.
He wiped out my giants like a firing squad and now nothing exists like a facade.

Then I began to move into His favor,
I smelt the salt, so I savor the flavor,
As the sea tried to make me waver,
He threw out His life-saver and my spirit became braver because of the change in my behavior.

So I have give Him the praise, the glory, and the honor,
to my Heavenly Father, He could have turned His back, but then I would be a goner and everything I worked hard for would have been a dishonor.

So I keep Him first in my life, as if we are husband and wife.
And I learn to submit to His ways so that I will never go astray from the promise that He has made, that as long as I obey, He will be with me for the rest of my days!

TOUCHED

One day the Lord touched me and let me know one thing, without Him in my life I’d have nothing to sing…

So He put a song in my mouth, that I just love to sing, cause it’s all about serving a universal King…

Now if you ever think about singing and don’t know what words to say, just call on Jesus and He’ll show you the way…

And if you ever feel Touched, and can’t comprehend the feeling, just remember that God is always healing…

His touch is so wonderful and this is so true in fact the day He touches you, you’ll feel him through & through.

WISDOM

Wisdom that’s divine is something that can’t be bought if you travel the world to seek it, you’ll find it can’t be sought.

Wisdom that’s divine is something that’s really free; all you need is Jesus to explain it all to thee.

Now wisdom of the world will never compete with the divine wisdom, that’s deep inside of thee.

So when you call on Jesus to explain what He’s placed inside, you’ll find His divine wisdom will come as a big surprise.

Now with all your worldly wisdom, that’s taken years to acquire, I’m sure it make you feel very very wise, but when darkness is around you and you realize you cannot see, you’ll find yourself screaming God, please help me.

First Thing

I open my eyes each morning
As daylight falls on dew;
It’s another day to thank the Lord
For again His mercies are new.
I ponder all His blessings,
My family and my friends;
All the ways He’s kept me,
His faithfulness never ends.
Then comes a quiet longing
A deep desire within my soul
To spend sweet time with Jesus
Time more precious than pure gold.
I enter my secret closet
In the quietness I wait.
Meditating on His Word,
No other peace I so great
There in blessed communion
He whispers of heavenly things
My soul overflows with gladness
Under the shadow of his wings
The Holy Spirit engages,
And causes me to soar
O’ joy beyond compare
It’s prayer time once more.

Cry Out To Jesus - To everyone who's lost someone they love
long before it was their time.
You feel like the days you had were not enough
when you said goodbye.
And to all of the people with burdens and pains
keepin' you back from your life.
You believe that there's nothing
and there is no one who can make it right.
There is hope for the helpless, rest for the weary,
and love for the broken hearts.
There is grace and forgiveness, mercy and healing
He'll meet you wherever you are.
Cry out to Jesus. Cry out to Jesus.
For the marriage that's struggling just to hang on
They lost all of their faith in love.
and they've done all they can to make it right again
still it's not enough.
For the ones who can't break the addictions and chains
