In the year of 1988, a unique and exquisite design was birthed into a new life found in Christ in the person of Elder Virginia Booth. God’s precious gift to the body of Christ was placed as a loyal servant of God at Victory Christian Center of Philadelphia under the auspices of the illustrious Dr. Jimmie A. Ellis III. Elder Virginia embraced the hand of God and walked humbly and selflessly through many trials and tribulations for the sake of God’s ordained purpose for her life. Through God’s flawless plans, Elder Virginia pursued the impeccable will of God with the essence of trusting and knowing that she must endure God’s patterned experiences not for herself but for the lives of others.

Elder Virginia, with a hunger and thirst for the word of God increased her knowledge in the Word of God by attending Arnaz Ministries School of the Word Bible Institute (formerly known as the Minister’s Class), which she is presently an instructor of the course, “Women in Ministry”. For enhancement and effectiveness in ministering to women, Elder Virginia attended Christian Stronghold Seminary. Elder Virginia Booth attended, Thomas Brown Christian College in Dallas, Texas,she earned her Doctorate in Theology graduating Sumacumlade of her class.

This divine lady of God promenades this predestined path fulfilling her divine assignments by bringing healing and deliverance to women who have been sexually, physically, and mentally abused. Where there was no hope, her God-given gifts and talents, caused women to embrace hope again. Her standing ovation goes to her Heavenly Father. She takes no acclaim for what she does. She only strides in the fulfillment of Proverbs 31:30, which is her favorite verse, “Favor is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord shall be praise.”

Elder Virginia executes the love and grace of God by giving of herself as a mentor to many women. Her compassionate, heart manifested the establishment of a Mentoring Group” entitled, “DIVA GIRLZ” which means “Divinely Inspired with a Victorious Attitude” for ages 20-35, although she mentors woman above this age bracket. In the June 2008, Elder Virginia established and became the founder of a non profit ministry, “Virginia Booth Ministries”Inc., a ministry that focuses on bringing healing, hope, and restoration to women of all ages.

In addition to her own ministry, Elder Virginia, under the tutelage of her Pastor and Spiritual Father, Dr. Jimmie A. Ellis III, continues to flourish maintaining her loyalty to the ministries at her church home, Victory Christian Center of Philadelphia. She presently serves as the President and Department Head of the woman’s ministry, a sister2sister ministry called “Women of Destiny”. She functions with her husband, Elder William Booth as the Department Head overseeing, the marriage ministry, entitled, “Marriage Enhancement Ministry”.

Her passionate overflow does not reside only in her church but it flows out into the community. Elder Virginia extends herself as the Ministry Leader for a community outreach program to the woman of the Teen Challenge Home. She organizes monthly visits to the facility bringing hope, strength, healing, and deliverance to women who are recovering from drugs and alcohol.

This anointed lady of Grace, Elder Virginia has been favored with the opportunity to be a guest speaker on the Family Life TV Christian Broadcast Station, as well as, commencement ceremonies, women leadership conferences, women’s retreats, youth conferences annual Mother Day services, and other special church events throughout the country.

Elder Virginia is honored to be the wife of a wise, supportive, loyal, and humble man of God who is full of faith, her husband, Elder William Booth. She is also the blessed mother of two beautiful daughters, Ashida Leflower and Christina Faith and one son in law, Kenneth.
