Anointed Works –S. D. is a ministry dedicated in facilitating the discovery and embracing the God-given gifts of creativity , literary, and performing arts. We glorify and celebrate those gifts from which all blessings flow; by praising God- the Father, Jesus-the Son and the Holy Ghost, We appreciate the achievements and attributes of man. We recognize and honor that it is only when the unification of God- given gifts and man-given skills pay tribute to our Lord that we are given God’s authority to possess His promised prosperity.

Someday I hope to own and operate an arts and skills center where children and adults in the community can learn educational skills, performing arts, and receive spiritual motivational skills. This center will be a place where they can learn how to focus on their dreams at any age and to understand what type of education and skills are required to accomplish their goals. Three years ago, a group of artists and I founded a performing group called Anointed Works. The group foundered when I went back to complete my education. Since graduation, I have been trying to re-establish Anointed Works as a group that also functions as a community service organization.
I have discovered that inspiration has neither age nor social boundaries, and can be manifested in either the simplest act of kindness or the greatest accomplishment. It is merely the stimulation of the spirit. Along my journey, my poetry of life has found new meaning, crossing racial, gender and chronological lines.

I have also learned that inspiration is an infinite power. It is the stimulation of the spirit brought forth when one comes to the realization that the things that cause chaos in our lives, but by God and His plan do not define us. We have the choice to live in generational blessings or generational curses. We all have a seed planted deep inside of us—a gift; that seed can only be cultivated and bloom when we share that gift with others

    Children’s/family Concert featuring Emmy-award winning children’s entertainer David Chicken Saturday April 14, 2012

    Hello everyone in the Dallas area!
    This weekend, we are hosting children’s/family concert that should be a lot of fun at the First United Methodist Church of Plano located at 3160 E Spring Creek Pkwy, Plano, TX 75074 at 4 pm. The concert features Emmy-award winning children’s entertainer David Chicken.

    Tickets are available at the door for $5.00 per child/$10.00 per adult. We are also offering a $30 max per family for larger families.

    At present Kairos Prison Ministry International have three programs to satisfy our calling from Jesus. Men and women from all over the world respond to this call and volunteer hundreds of hours be it actually working with individuals, praying, making cookies or preparing meals for our guests.
    Kairos Inside
    Well-organized and well-trained volunteer teams of men and women from the communities surrounding an institution present an introductory 3-day weekend, described as a short course in Christianity. This inter-denominational team of volunteers — both clergy and laypersons — works in cooperation with the Chaplain who carefully selects up to 42 inmate leaders to attend. A well-organized follow up program is part of this program.

    Kairos Outside
    Kairos Outside is a special weekend retreat designed to support the female loved ones of men and women who are or have been incarcerated. Families of the incarcerated “do time” right along with their loved ones. In a safe environment with loving people, women interact with other women who are in similar situations and learn to form small groups to support and give them strength for the challenges they face.

    Kairos Torch
    Kairos Torch offers unconditional love and acceptance, encouraging young men and women to share their life journey through participation in a long term mentoring process. The program begins with a weekend retreat inside the prison. Torch team members commit to a weekly mentoring process with the youthful offenders for six months after the weekend.
