Apostle William R. Harrell, Jr., is a charismatic yet humble man of God who has certainly been born for this time to minister to the hearts and souls of the broken, weak, feeble and downtrodden. He is anointed and appointed to “break the chains of bondage”.
As a teenager, he struggled with alcoholism and drug abuse. The devil tried to kill and destroy his life, but God had other plans. After living such a life filled with challenges, in 1978 he sought a change and decided to move from North Carolina to New York. In New York God’s plans began to manifest in his life. God delivered him from the chains of bondage and he accepted the Lord as his personal Savior and was filled with the Holy Spirit on January 9, 1979.
Shortly after his conversion, the Lord called him into the ministry under the leadership of Bishop Johnnie L. Anderson, Sr., Pastor of Little Bethlehem Apostolic Faith Church of God in Christ, Brooklyn, NY. After showing himself faithful and receiving his biblical training at the Little Bethlehem Ministry, he was ordained as an Elder of the church in 1980. Soon thereafter, God called him into evangelistic ministry where he was used greatly all across the country. Through his ministry, many souls were delivered and set free. To God be the glory!
The Lord blessed Elder Harrell again when he met and married Joann Small. From this union they were blessed with five wonderful children; Princess Tiffany, Masters Jonathan, Dashawn, Dwayne and David. Having a strong and loving family is one of the foundational pillars of Bishop Harrell’s life.
Bishop Harrell was the Founder and Pastor of The Greater Outreach Gospel Deliverance Ministry, as well as the Founder & President of The International Crusade Fellowship For All People, Inc. In April 2001, elevation came again when Elder Harrell was consecrated to the office of Bishop in Springfield, Massachusetts by Archbishop Anthony R. Monk, Presiding Bishop of the National Fellowship Council of Churches. On August 27, 2005, Bishop Harrell, was installed and confirmed by The Most Reverend Joseph C. Nichols, Presiding Prelate of International Churches United in Praise, Inc. to the Presiding Bishop of the International Crusade Fellowship For All People, Inc., Headquartered in the Greater New York – Synod.
God has blessed Bishop Harrell with the anointing to bridge the denominational gap and join the people of God together regardless of denominational view points for mass fellowship and worship. As the blessings of the Lord continued to flow unto the Bishop, he received his Doctorate of Divinity (D.D.) on June 7, 2008 from The Anointed by God Ministries, Intl Alliance & Seminary. Bishop William R. Harrell Jr. also received his Doctorate of Philosophy of Theological
Studies from The Jackson-Davis Bible College & Theological Seminary. In addition, on March 15, 2009, Bishop became President of the International Power in Faith College of Bishop, Headquartered in Ocala, Florida.
His next elevation came when he became was the first man ever to be installed as Senior Pastor of St. James Community Full Gospel Church located in Harlem, NY at 302 West 120th St. New York, NY. Bishop is featured in The Stanford Who’s Who Black Book 2010 Edition as a leader who has demonstrated outstanding leadership. Bishop Harrell embraces his spiritual calling and is committed to fulfilling the purpose God has for his life.
