Certain things can mark you for life—like a tacky tattoo you can't hide. One bad decision... one moment of anger... one stupid act... one ignorant comment. Hitting your girlfriend/boyfriend. Killing someone while driving drunk. Mocking the kid you didn't realize was suicidal.

A moment can change the way people look at you forever. No matter how much you apologize or try to make things right, some people will never be able to forget what you've done. Fortunately, God is not one of those people. The moment you repent and seek his forgiveness, your reputation in his eyes becomes spotless.
