Rev. Wilhelmena Johnson is a native of Norfolk, VA. She was born May 17, 1950 and attended elementary school at Christ the King Catholic School, junior high at Norview Jr. High School, and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School. She then went on to attend Norfolk State University on a four year scholarship in Music.
Rev. Johnson has a variety of religious experiences, including Catholic, Baptist, Pentecostal and a few others. She has served as a Choir Director and Lead Vocalist. Her calling came at a young age but she ran, ran and ran until she couldn't run anymore. She had an accident which made her "BE STILL" so that she could listen to what GOD was saying. Even then it took her several more years before she could actually speak it. Rev. Johnson then attended ITC Seminary and begin her Internship and Candidacy at All Saints MCC under the direction of Rev. Ike Parker, the Senior Pastor. She was ordained in 2003 and in that same year started a church. She is the PRODIGAL DAUGHTER of Rev. Jay Neely, the former Presiding Minister of ICCC. She went through a year of training with ICCC and in October 2005 became affirmed as a pastor in the ICCC Denomination.
God has ordered her steps in the last three years and has blessed her to lead His people and start a new church named "GOD's CHOSEN ONES MINISTRY." This family of God, welcomes all persons regardless of race, creed or sexual orientation. GCOM is an open and affirming congregation. - Website:

Prayer Request
Dear beloved By the Grace of God from the year 2000 our children ministry has been doing as well. Initially 10 children that we had started this ministry and now it increased 26 children are studying. Some have studied well and are been placed in good position. Our children ministry is running in the small place. There were no proper places and walls were broken so for that we started to build two new rooms. Lord has helped miraculously till now. Yet now we built up to roof level. We suffer lot to build further. (We do not know what shall we do further and put in prayer before God). Until this helped Ebenezer have also been help. Please pray for God shall open the enough doors for complete the remain works.
We expect more of your prayer and kind support. I humbly request you to send us the help as much as possible for uphold this ministry.
Pray these orphans and their needs like; Clothes, Shoes, tooth brushes, medicines, bags, blankets, pillows, tooth paste, and etc.
May the Lord put this blessing upon you and your children forever! Pray for their well protection.
