Dr. Glyniel Garner, is the shepherd and founder of Life Enciplement Ministries is a non profit 501c3 organization that operates as a multifaceted multicultural shepherding, teaching, and training ministry in Ocala, Florida for individuals, couples, and families. We propose to enlist every person to serve according to their unique God given spiritual gifts, passions, abilities, skills, personality, prior training, certification, and life experiences. As a ministry of reconciliation, we provide Christian fellowship in accordance with a spiritual partnership in the promotion of the gospel and the building up of believers; the extension of God’s intentions to do and to function in the work of ministry on the earth. God has endowed us with the Kingdom power to get the work done.

As ambassadors of Christ, we are obligated to reconcile others back to God through Christ, and we do this based upon the four concepts of fellowship as in Acts 2:42 of the New Testament. These concepts are: Relationship, Partnership, Companionship, and Stewardship. Together these four areas cover the principles of fellowship as it edifies, encourages, and serves one another. Discipleship is the only suitable means of accomplishing these objectives.

The main purpose of this ministry is to direct new, young, and settled believers to a life of obedience in following Christ through discipleship according to scripture. Our method of discipling is through biblical teaching and training which personifies an accurate account of the “Great Commission” whereas Jesus declared, “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things I have commanded you.” Matthew 28:18b-20a

With much emphasis on teaching discipleship, we conduct weekly worship services and Bible studies which also include biblical and spiritual counseling, life coaching, and small groups. We implement small groups following the example of Jesus Christ, who in Matthew 4:18-22, formed a small group of twelve. Teaching in this model of an intimate environment of twelve or less enables each individual to become a reflection of Christ. Our small groups are structured through an agreement among all participants to maintain openness, honesty, accountability, confidentiality, commitment, consistency of freedom to share, community of connectedness, leadership, and defining purpose, as we carry out the mission and core values of the ministry to bring help, hope and healing to a hurting world. We also offer mentoring, an act of guiding, biblical counseling, and support.
