Prophet/Pastor Dr. David L. Johnson ( D.L.) was born in Oakland, California to the Bishop Isaiah Johnson Sr. and Evangelist Jacquelyn D. Lee. Pastor D.L. Johnson is certainly a man of many coats. He is a husband, father, mentor, visionary, counselor, and sincerely a man after Gods own heart. Pastor D.L. has been on the battlefield of faith since the tender age of nine years old, in which he answered the call of God upon his life, and received his licensing to minister the gospel, under the leadership of his father, Bishop Isaiah Johnson Sr., of Trinity Chapel COGIC and the Presiding Bishop of New Movement Church of The First Born, Stockton CA. He is a fifth generation preacher and fourth generation pastor and visionary. Starting with his great-grandfather, Bishop H.D. Johnson Sr. of Sallis, Mississippi, who founded, Church of the First Born- A Rock Foundation ( C.O.T.F.B), planting over 7 different churches between Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Sallis, Mississippi. After spending three years under his father, he returned to his birth ministry True Holiness Miracle Temple (later changed to Fresh Anointing Outreach Ministries) where he later in the year of 2001, became the youth pastor and received his ordination. Prophet David. L. Johnson's generations are notable. As believed, the legacy will continue through the life of Prophet David L. Johnson who is the offspring of greatness and progressive vision!

Now a resident of Houston TX, Prophet David L. Johnson along with his wife, Lady Shanika R. Johnson is pastoring a maturing and fruitful church, The High Place Empowerment Center. In addition Prophet D.L. Johnson serves as the Director of Protocol within The Progressive District of The Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship.

On July 28, 2012, Pastor D.L. Johnson received an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity, with concentration on Inter-Faith Counseling from St. Raphael Divinity College, for his 20 years of serving the gospel. His primary focus within ministry is maturing and developing families, churches and communities through effective teaching, mentoring and preaching of the Word of God. His ministry is geared specifically towards mentoring and developing men and women in the areas of holistic healing and restoration, mind, body, and spirit. Surely Pastor D.L. Johnson is a voice that needs to be heard and cherished. In closing, Dr. D.L. Johnsons motto in ministry is “When a man is not in place, woman is out of place; when a woman is out of place, children are misplaced: Which leaves a family in disgrace, leaving a children growing up searching for a replacement for the man who was never in place in the first place”.
