You are not alone, in Revelation Reality we will clarify and dispel the myths fear, and much confusion which seems to surround the subject of ;End Times as Holy Spirit leads, and truth is revealed. But first let's distinguish between John the Baptist and John the revelator!!
Although there is nothing brief about either Ministry, the description is 'brief here as full discussion on the topic will be found in the open forum.
CLARIFYING JOHN THE BAPTIST AND JOHN THE REVELATOR
The book of Revelation was written by John the 'Revelator' who was an Apostle of Jesus Christ, sent by God, (His only Son) to Redeem the world from sin. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
John 3:16 John the 'Revelator' was banished to the Isle of Patmos, an Island off the West coast of Asia Minor, where the book of Revelation was revealed. He was one of the last living apostles. MyNiceSpace.com
According to the Word, John the Baptist is the forerunner of Jesus Christ, who Baptized those who accepted the message of the Kingdom of God.
John came baptizing in the wilderness: prepare the way of the Lord, make His paths strait." John came baptizing in the wilderness and preaching a baptism of repentance for the remission of sins." Mark 1:4, 5
The "Word of God" from the "Holy Bible," is a message of hope to mankind, 'all' people even at this hour. Today is the day of salvation, although It is up to each one to choose whether or not to believe.
In the beginning was the Word. Gods Word does not change.
Matthew 5:17-20. The earth while in darkness and chaos at one time was transformed into a planet of beauty and 'order' by the power of God, "His creative Spirit.
The power of 'Holy Spirit' and the 'Word of God' changes lives. The creative redeeming power of God transforms lives. When God, our 'Father' created man, the 'spirit' of man was in close communion with God and dominated his soul and body. Being; spirit, soul, and body. Through 'sin' which is rebellion Adam fell, being the First Man, fell with the woman who was made as his helpmeet, and led him (both being deceived by satan) into rebellion.
Spiritual desires no longer controlled his life and the 'order' in which he was created was disrupted which caused 'flesh' to dominate and control the souls desires, thus the 'spirit' of man died! Being dead in trespasses and sins, thus cursed.
Gods redemptive plan through "Jesus Christ" and His sacrifice bought man back from the curse of sin.
The Holy Spirit of "God our Father" moves upon the spirit of man and man is quickened, 'made alive' to God, bringing his spiritual nature in control.
'Sin' therefore, is the will of man which rises up against the will of God in rebellion, which causes separation, chaos, and 'disorder.'
Man is a triune being; made up of; spirit, soul, and body. The spirit of man is that part that is God - concious which yearns for spiritual fulfillment which only God can satisfy. The soul is the center of man's emotions, desires and affections. The body is the means by which the spirit and soul have world conciousness.
When we go to "God" in repentance, He restores us again into fellowship with Himself. Cleansing us and making us whole through Jesus Christ.
As true "Christians" we must believe the truth that "God is," by faith.
Hebrews 11:6. The son became the Sacrifice for sin and the Mediator between God and man, he alone brought reconcilliation between "God our Father" and man Hebrews 2:17, Romans 5:10, 2 Corinthians 5:18
God is love, and the most powerful force in the world is love."For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16
Is anything too hard for God? He is; the great I am, Creator and Maker of Heaven and Earth, Alpha and Omega, Elohim, El-Shaddai, Adonai, All Mighty God, The First and The Last The Beginning, and the End.
