Born on September 12, 1975 in Dallas, Texas to the parentage of Rev. and Mrs. Robert T. Silmon, Jr. he was educated in private Christian schools and graduated from Bishop Dunne High, Texas Christian University and Texas Wesleyan University. Vincent has gained a significant amount of practical professional experience to complement his vocational experience.
Currently Vincent serves as Youth Pastor at Southern Crest Full Gospel Baptist Church of Dallas. In 2004 he organized the ministry to support the needs of the children (ages 3-12), youth (ages 13-17) and young people (18-21) within this 2000 member congregation. Vincent is the found of Faith & Mercy Ministries, which seeks to build faith among believers and extend mercy to those in need. Most recently, Vincent completed his first book project called “Pathways to His Presence”. This devotional book provides basic insights into the word of God.
He is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, a historic black organization and is married to his college sweetheart Stephanie Knowles-Silmon. Vincent enjoy the outdoors, working out at the gym and reading (favorite author is Brennan Manning).
