Elder James Bailey was born to Minister Angela Bailey. In 2004 Elder Bailey preached his first sermon Nehemiah Worship Center under the leadership of Apostle Ann Jackson. There he also served as youth minister and Minister of Music. Elder Bailey currently serves as Minister of Music at Mount Vernon AME Zion Church in Fort Lawn, South Carolina under the leadership of Rev. Titus Thorn. Elder Bailey is now the Pastor of New Vine Ministries in Charlotte, North Carolina.
