From the earliest days of America’s history, a deep-rooted spirituality has been one of the hallmarks of the black population in the country. A new study released by The Barna Group underscores that the passage of time has not diminished the importance of faith in the lives of African-Americans.
How the Faith of African-Americans Has Changed African Americans within the Christian community are just as immersed in (and dependent upon) digital technologies and social networks as are those outside of it. Both Black Christians and other born again Christians emerged as statistically on par with national norms when it came to each of the 15 different areas that were studied. In other words, matters of faith played very little role in differentiating people’s technological habits.

BlackandChristian.comYoung children need to learn about the character of God, before they learn about their responsibility to God.Once they understand His character, they will want to respond to Him with all their hearts. For example, when they understand that God is love, and that He loves them, they will respond to Him in love. 1 John 4:19 says, "We love Him because He first loved us" (NKJV). Good teaching material for young children will be full of truths about the goodness and love of God.
