I GUESS LOVE GOT TO START IN ONE HEART FOR GOD IF YOU CANT LOVE GOD HOW CAN YOU GET ALONG WITH YOUR BRO AND SIS IN CHIRST IT SEEM SOMETIMES THAT THE MORE YOU PREACH THE WORST ONE GET AS IF THE WORD IS TO NO EFFECT. WHAT IS THE CHURCH COMING TO

LOL Bro Hancock I have experienced church nepotism also. What a mess! I mean the entire clan was in the church and though on the outside that seemed good as a new member I couldn't go to anyone with an issue about anyone even in confidence bcuz I could have been talkin to a cousin or nephew or aunt or whatever.

But the that is just the negative side.

Why bcuz I come from a family where just about EVERYone of them was in the five fold or in some ministry leadership position. I mean "erry"body. LOL

But they didn't stay in one church after growing up. They became pastors and bishops and pastors wives etc.

I keep saying "they" bcuz that is my father's side of my family and I didn't grow up with any of that side. I actually grew up being angry at preachers bcuz of what I saw happening in their lives behind closed doors.

And when the Lord called me into ministry. I my late 20s I rebelled big time. LOL

Anywho, I have seen the church run like a family biz for many ministries and it was done in an honorable way. Ministry became a legacy that was cherished not abused.


I've seen both sides so it is hard to be hardened and 100 percent cynical by the negative side

REV LUCKETT YOU ARE SO RIGHT BUT SOME FAMILY THINK BECAUSE THE CHURCH WAS STARTED BY THERE LOVE ONES OR NAME AFTER THEM THAT THEY SHOULD RULE THE CHURCH OR BECAUSE THEY BEEN IN A CHURCH ALL THERE LIVE SEEM AS THOUGH TO THEM THAT JESUS DOES NOT MATTER . I HAD ONE PASTOR FRIEND WHO SAID THAT NO MATTER WHAT GOD GIVE HIM TO GIVE TO THE CHURCH THEY DIDNT FOOLOW HIM BUT HAD HOME BUSSINESS MEETING ON THE PHONE TO KNOCK DOWN EVERYTHING GOD HAVE GIVE THINKING THE CHAIRMAN OF DEC. BOARD IS HEAD OF CHURCH

Don't think it strange when the devil comes into the church, he comes in to disrupt the church and to take the focus off of Jesus Christ. This was a problem that Apostle Paul faced with the church of Corinth, I suggest that you do a complete study of both first and second Corinthians and be prayerful to the Lord would guide you. You mentioned "saved people" you do know that there are people who say they are saved but who have not received Christ as their Lord and Savior?
