CAN A CHURCH BE AN EFFICTIVE CHURCH WITH OUT A PASTOR???

THERE WAS ONCE A VACENT CHURCH AND THE DEC STATE TO A VISTING PREACHER THAT A CHURCH DO NOT NEED A PASTOR IT CAN BE RAN BY THE DEC BOARD. WHAT IS YOUR INPUT ON THIS CAN A CHURCH BE EFFICTIVE WITHOUT A PASTOR. WHAT WOULD YOU HANDLE THIS?

Bro Lonnie again I dis agree with you God have given chargh to the pastor to oversee the church until he return. if you donot belive this way do you hold this title as pastor . the Pastor should live by example . it might not be word like you want it too . but it is the order of of God true church yes there are diff office or call but all work togather to make God program a sucess . you need to see how eah office work in the church .God called be to lead his people and follow him. not like you say follow the people and lead God

No, I'm not saying any of that. But you are making statements about what God said that there is no scripture to back-up your statement. That question at hand is " Can a church be effective without a pastor?" My answer is yes. But everyone else is saying no. All I ask is to show biblical evidence to your statement. Everyone is sayinf that God said that a church has to be lead by a pastor and all I'm saying is for someone to show me this biblically. That's it....not opinion, but sound biblical doctrine to this statement. We are all to be correct in our statements concerning the word of God and that includes telling others what He said. From what I'm reading here and if I'm wrong tell me, but it seems that you are tell me that only a pastor has to be the leader of a church....not an Apostle, nor an Evanglist, nor a Prophet, nor Teacher. According to Eph. 4, he gave them all for the edifying of the entire body of Christ. It seems to me and tell me if I'm wrong, they can all lead a church and not just a pastor. By the way, as I said before....I'M A PASTOR.
