Declaring His Greatness

I shall .. live and declare the works of the Lord. - Ps 118:17

Our greatest assignment as servants of God is worship. We were made to worship God. In worshiping Him, we declare his greatness. We declare his works and show how great he is. The whole creation of God cries out daily to God in worship. The sun, moon and stars declare his glory and the entire universe gives him praise.

You and I were born to declare the greatness of God. Consider the life of David, the sweet psalmist of Israel. He was a man of praise that was so much obsessed with the art of declaring the greatness of God. Throughout the book of Psalms the name of the Lord is extolled and magnified. There is no man on earth that would be so obsessed with declaring God`s greatness as David was that would not be made great. David was a great man. Today, David is known as the greatest king of Israel. Think about it. After several centuries have passed away. David is still remembered. The flag of Israel is beautified with the star of David and even in heaven, our Lord Jesus Christ is linked with the throne of David and key of David.

Make it a lifestyle to declare the greatness of God. Don't worship yourself or worship man but give glory to God. Declare his greatness. Make known his power and see your life change for the best. The feeling of worship is great. Its sweeter than honey. Yea, sweeter than all things
