Faith to believe and receive 1 Samuel 1

Today we will look at a woman who had been in a particular state for a long time. We will find out that even if we have allowed the enemy
space to keep us in a place of bondage deliverance is possible.

1) We see Hannah who was barren unable to have a baby but on top of that the other
woman in her husbands life tormented her because her womb was open. Why do you
think you are in the state that you are in? What is your reaction to the
contrary wind that is blowing? God was the one who had shut up her womb. Do you
recognize the sovereignty of the Lord? He knew before you were born. Are you
tormented from without and within
like Hannah ? It’s time for you to take action.

And because the LORD had closed her womb, her rival kept provoking her in order to irritate her.
1Sam. 1:6

2) Her husband did not understand why she was not happy because he treated her well.

Her husband Elkanah said, "Oh, Hannah, why are you crying? Why aren't you
eating? And why are you so upset? Am I not of more worth to you than ten
sons?". V8 (MSG)

There are times we are in a place that others may not understand but we must recognize that God knows right were we are and has purpose and destiny
for our lives. If we would deal with that which is going on in the inside we
would receive what God has for us.

3) In the presence of the Lord pour out your soul. When we are honest before God about were we are we can
expect change to take place.

1016.Hannah was brokenhearted and was crying as she prayed, LORD All-Powerful, I am
your servant, but I am so miserable! Please let me have a son. I will give him
to you for as long as he lives, and his hair will never be cut." V10,11
(CEV)

4) Discernment is needed to see what is really going on. Do not always judge by what you see
on the outside. Eli misjudged her and after her response was able to tell her
God was going to answer her prayer. The one who was able to speak the Word of
the Lord to her was the man of God who previously misjudged her.

"How long are you going to stay drunk?" he asked. "Sober up!" "Sir,

please don't think I'm no good!" Hannah answered. "I'm not drunk, and
I haven't been drinking. But I do feel miserable and terribly upset. I've been
praying all this time, telling the LORD about my problems."
Eli
replied, "You may go home now and stop worrying. I'm sure the God of
Israel will answer your prayer." "Sir, thank you for being so kind to
me," Hannah said. Then she left, and after eating something, she felt much
better 14-18(CEV)

God is concerned about us he knows what he has purposed
for us, do not give up on the brink of your miracle. When you talk to God
exercising your faith believing you will receive your healing, deliverance,
peace and joy and wholeness.
