God's Promises Will Be Fulfilled
Little children, you are of God [you belong to Him] and have [already] defeated and overcome them [the agents of the antichrist], because He Who lives in you is greater (mightier) than he who is in he world. 1 John 4:4
Know who you are in Christ and understand that through salvation, you are seen in the spiritual world as wearin a garment of salvation and covered with a robe of righteousness (see Isaiah 61:10). God is on your side, and He is under you, over you, with you, for you, and in you.
The devil knows you belong to Christ because God "[has also appropriated and acknowledged us as His by] putting His seal upon us and giving us His [Holy] Spirit in our hearts as the security deposit and guarantee [of the fulfillment of His promise]" (2 Corinthians 1:23).
