The Biblical New Year started last evening at sunset, with the visible new crescent moon over Jerusalem. Today is the first day of the Biblical New Year, the name of first month being Nissan.

Passover will be celebrated in 2 weeks, on the 14th of Nissan.

Paul in 1 Cor. 5:7 & 8 said:

"For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. 8 Let us therefore *celebrate the festival*..."

To "celebrate the festival", has anyone ever explained what that really means?
Based upon the context of this scripture he was obviously speaking of the "Feast of Passover and Unleavened Bread." Messiah said that He would take the Passover again when it was fulfilled in the Kingdom

Luke 22:15 - " I shall not eat it until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God."

If Passover is not yet fully fulfilled, why did the church stop celebrating it????

And why did the church start celebrating Easter which is not even in the Bible?
