Walking in Trust

Thought: Trust and obey: there’s no other way.

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct they paths. (Prov. 3:5-6)

Prayer: Heavenly Father, because my heart is fixed, trusting in you, I will not be afraid of any evil tidings. I want to grow in my ability to trust you, because I know that true joy and blessing come from trusting in you with all my heart.

You promise that anyone who trusts in you will be like a tree planted by the waters, that spreads out it roots by the river. You also promise to direct the paths of a person who trusts in you with all his heart. Still another blessing that come from trusting you is that mercy will encompass me. Thank you, Father, for your great faithfulness that leads me to trust in you. These wonderful truths about walking in trust cause me to be glad in you, Lord, and to rejoice because you are watching over me.

Trusting in you, Father, I will continue in supplications and prayers night and day. Grant that I would never place my trust in uncertain riches of any other think except the living God, who richly gives us all things to enjoy.

As I learn to trust you. Lord, I pray that you will help me to build other relationships in my life based on trust. All trust comes through Christ, and, as I turn toward you, I realize that I am not sufficient of myself in anything, but my sufficiency is of God who has made me an able minister of the New Testament.

I place all my trust in you, O Lord. Thank you for all you are doing in my life to foster my trust in you and my trustworthiness before you. In Jesus Name, Amen
