Words Are Power

i>Exercise foresight and be on the watch to look [after one another], to see that no one falls back from and fails to secure God's grace (His unmerited favor and spiritual blessings), in order that no root of resentment (rancor, bitterness, or hatred) shoots forth and causes trouble and bitter torment, an dthe many become contaminated and defiled by it. Jesus said, "If you have faith (a firm relying trust) and do not doubt....even if you say to this mountain, Be taken up and cast into the sea, it will be done. And whatever you ask for in prayer, having faith and [really] believing, you will receive" (Matthew 21:21-22 emphasis mine).

Don't misuse the power of words by talking too much without faith or talking too little about your faith. Choose kind and gentle words that lift people and quiet gossip and strife. Believe that God's grace will prevail through what you say.
