When God shows up, not only do we get free, but those around us do too. Acts 16:26 says, Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the very foundations of the prisons were shaken; and at once all the doors were opened and everyone's shackles were unfastened.
I like that suddenly and all at once everybody got in on it. Do we understand that? God can flood the room and set everybody free. The doors flew open and everybody's shackles were loosed.
At one of our conferences the Holy Ghost showed up in a uniquely special way and just flooded the room with His Spirit. Some of the people got touched and healed and delivered from something.
Now we don't have to be in some meeting to have the Holy Ghost minister to us. God touches us in powerful ways a whole lot more often in our private time with Him. You can have a good time between you and God any time you want to. We don't have to wait for some preacher to show up or somebody else who is anointed to show up. We just need to start waiting and spending time in the presence of God humbling ourselves.
When we humble ourselves, we cast all our care on God because He cares for us. We give the whole mess to Him and say, "If you want me to stay this way until the trumpet blows, here I am. You love me just the way I am. If you want to change me, go for it." Paul and Silas humbled themselves before God. They gave the whole mess to Him, and He changed their circumstances. He delivered them and everybody else.
When we are really walking by faith, there is joy because even though we don't know what God is going to do or when He is going to do it or how He is going to do it, we are excited because we know He is going to do it...AMEN
