Psalm 63:1; Jeremiah 29:13; Matthew 6:33; Luke 11:10; Deuteronomy 4:29 Psalm 105:4.

If you desire an experience of God’s power in your life or have desire more intimacy.

- You are like many others who desire to experience God’s presence and touch but you really don’t know how.

Yes, you love God and have this deep longing for more, for a deeper intimate relationship. You don’t want only to know about Him.

Church can no longer be church as usual. We need a life-changing encounter with God.

- You want to know Him and experience the reality of His touch, presence and anointing. Be assured that this desire can be fulfilled.

However you cannot experience the power of God without experiencing His presence. Desperate desire demands desperate measures. These days are not for casual seekers.

- These times call for a people who desire urgently to search and avail themselves and feelings to pursue God

1. There must be a hunger for more of God.

- We want the anointing without seeking and without being hungry for God.

But to get the anointing you must be hungry and thirsty for God.

- We cannot get or keep the anointing nor stay in His presence without being hungry for more of Him.

God is calling us and drawing us to a new dimension that would kill self and all that goes along with it.

- We had better enter in and go beyond the veil Jer. 29:13; Psalm 63:1; 2 Chron. 12:44

The heart of David was aflame with passionate zeal for His Lord.

- He thirsted for God as a man stranded in a parched desert would thirst for a few drops of cool water.

Jesus’ life was also characterised by an earnest devotion to His Father. Mark 1:35

What kind of hunger do we have for God? Are we hungry at all?

A hunger for God can have a profound life-changing impact:

- It will stir you to your deepest depths.
- It will expose the dead ache that all true worshippers have.
- It forced you to live worship.

It is time to seek the face of God
It is time to be in hot pursuit for God.
It is time to fuel the flaming hunger.

God is not going to pour out His spirit where there is no hunger for Him.

- He is looking for people who are hungry for Him. He only comes when you are ready to turn it all over to Him.

Hunger means you are dissatisfied with the way it has been.

How long has it been since you’ve been hungry for God?

- Does your hunger consume you to the point where you could care less what people think or say of you?

- Are you so hungry that God has the right to invade?

- Are you so hungry for God that it doesn’t matter how long it takes to wait on God? Most of us are not really hungry.

- We allow things of this realm to satisfy our lives and fill our hunger.

God wants to be God of our lives week after week.

- Just giving Him the little empty spaces will not cut it.
- He is tired of second place in our lives.
- He is tired of second place in our churches.

Psalm 27:4

We can be more caught up in doing things for God than being caught up with God.
- We need to stop seeking His benefits and go after Him
- Stop seeking His hand and go after His face.

Do you really want Him as bad as you say? Let us talk about this only if you want more of God.
