Celebrating The Life of Pastor C. B. T. Smith

On yesterday, the earthly remains of Pastor Clarence Booker T. Smith was laid to rest. Pastor Smith was a giant among his peers and his ministry and preaching transcended generational lines. Pastor Smith was the respected and accomplished pastor of the Golden Gate Missionary Baptist Church for over 52 years. He was graduate of Bishop College, a pulpiteer, a statesman, but most of all he was a guilty peacher. If you haven't had the privilege of hearing this awesome man of God preach I would encourage you to contact the Golden Gate Missionary Baptist Church and request a CD. God bless the family of Pastor Smith during this time.

I was blessed to hear Pastor Smith preach in several revivals, one of the greatest revivals I was blessed to witness
happened in 1995 during the San Antonio Baptist Minister's Union City-Wide Revival. Can you imagine hearing both the late Rev. C. B. T. Smith and the late Rev. C. A. W. Clark preach for a week? What a blessing!!
