This is not a racist situation it's just Mr. West making a bad judgement call showing unnecessary loyalty to "B" If Caucasian folks in America would have said "it was a bad judgement call, that's all" Black folks wouldn't have said nothing, and would have made jokes about it on the Tom Joyner Show & Steve Harvey Show. But I see why Caucasian America is turning this into a race matter because black folk do the same thing, I'll be doing it at the bottom of the thread, 'WATCH!' but also, Caucasian folks think too many blacks are disrespectful. Caucasians have no place in America they can call all white, not without being racist. Some black folks throw racism in white America face, every chance they get, I'm talking about black comics, Rev. rappers & others and them be the very same ones that live in a all white community send they kids to an all white school and behind the scenes have mostly caucasians handling their business. I really don't understand Mr. West saying he's going to be taking some time off, taking time off of what? your videos will still be playing on TV so folks will still be seeing you & your songs will still be on the radio, so folks will still be hearing from you. He act like we see him personally everyday, before I saw it on youtube I haven't seen him in over a year. Get in the studio you don't need any time off, invite Mrs. Swift.

It wasn't a racist situation, but the reason it's going to turn into a racist topic because it gives all the Caucasian friendly black folk a chance to earn some gravy points by blasting Mr. West. I personally think the President of the United States should have stayed out of it, this is a very small situation for the President to commit on. I was set-up by a Grand Imperial Wizard U.S. Marshal who was a Scottish Rite Mason who told me so, I bet President Obama or Mr. Eric Holder would speak on that. How many other black males have this Grand Imperial Wizard U.S. Marshal who was a Scottish Rite Mason set-up? and how many others work for the Justice Department. That's serious to me since it's the Justice Department. But that's another topic and thread all together.

Kanye West is a simpleton and a disgrace to all of black americans. Why would he do that to that little girl?
I mean this is not the time for these kind of shenanigans. We have a new president who has so much on his plate ALREADY and there are racists out there just needing a reason to have something to hate him even more for.
So everytime black people get caught up into something silly - its an indictment against all black people and ultimately our President.

I have never seen so many CHRISTIAN people come out publicly at such racist hateful rallies.
I think Jews need to take notice - actually I know that they do.
Black people are the canary in the coal mine for them.
They know that when white people start getting in the fight mode to hold on to their place in the world (you know for the most part they think they are the masters of the universe or the rightful heirs to everything anywhere in the world) they begin to search the scriptures for their God given right to hate ANY people.
And the Jews know when white people are in that mode - at some point in the future they will turn their attention to the Jews. It is a hateful spirit and it is demonic and from the bowels of hell.
If you dont believe me - go to the predominately white christian forum boards. The hate can be cut with a knife - and they all quote scriptures and say they are doing what they do for the unborn children being aborted.

You should see black women on a all white university they feel comfortable in their short shorts around white men, but as soon as a black male come around or walk by they don't know they feel uncomfortable regardless whether he's looking at them or not, just his presence could be in issue. Black America need to wake-up. But I guess that's just the way it is. In my book, not speaking about Mr. West, but everybody is racist against black males, including black women & some black males in a white majority white atmosphere, unless he got something they can smoke, shoot-up, snort, or pop. But back to Mr. West, it was the wrong thing to do, but I don't see how this is a racist issue.

Anything, hear me, ANYTHING that a black person does that is ignorant - in this atmosphere - will be made into a racial issue.
However, something tells me if it were Mary J. Blige he would not have said that to her. He knew who to make a move like that on.

I agree with you new view, everything done by any black person will be a strike against us all. I can see and feel the backlash of us having a black president just through everyday life. I saw a video on Youtube that says these raciset people are looking for the right spark to send their rage and hatred into high gear.

I really wish our people would just pipe down and lay low with the ignorant stuff because we are all lumped together no matter how different we are. The racist mindset sees no difference in a black professor and a black gang banger. That's really sad.

By the way, I would name more famous black male celebrities but they are married to white women or women of different ethnic origins. Is that what you mean by 'black women are racists against THOSE black males? If so, that's not true. Black women have adapted, at least the wise among us, and accept this black male get rich and give all the wealth to a white female wife status quo.

I am 50 yrs. old and don't know anything about young people's music. Never heard a Kanye song as I'm into old gospel or when I listen to what is called 'secular' music its' usually the 70's soulful songs along with the Motown music. Yep, just stuck in the wayback machine.

Anyway, the only reason I happened to watch the VH or whatever music awards was because I heard there would be a salute to Michael Jackson by his sister Janet.

As for the talent, all I have to say is let's pray for young people to be filled with the spirit of God. Wow. Albeit, Anthony I noticed you didn't have any rebuke for Beyonce's performance, why's that? lol

Anyway, bottom line, Kanye was a drunken fool, Beyonce' handled the matter with class and grace. It should have died right there. He embarrasses me and I hope that his mother did not teach him to be that ignorant. They say he was drinking all night and he says he thinks he needs to take a break too. He seems to be as embarrassed as most people are for him.

I didnt see the show, only the news clips after. I can say that no, his mom didnt teach him to be that way. I didnt know professor Donda personally, but she did teach my daughter who graduated from CSU. I worked there too for a while. His mom has a sterling reputation as a scholar.

Kanye had a VERY bad accident in which his car was totalled some years back that nearly killed him; he and my daughter and son in law had that unfortunate incident in common. I know what that sort of near death experience can do to a person. My own daughter, fiercely ambitious, independent and driven with a mega schedule as FT student and FT employee + pt hustler (gotta get that change, right) that caused her to be all over the city, was afraid to drive again. My son in law was immobolized for four months afterwards, and his overseassemi-pro bball career severely interrupted. In fact we know now 7 yrs later his overseas ball career is now over because of that accident. BUT my child underwent a year of therapy after their accident. She also got over it and so did my son in law.

I think Kanye hasnt done that, when he does decide to get therapy he'll make sure everyone knows.
