Question:
A brother contacted me 6 weeks ago. we stared talking on the phone. after 3 weeks, he wanted to come visit and stay for a few days. I said he could not stay with me and he hit the roof, took me off his friends list and i never heard from him again. Last week, another brother contacted me. we started talking on the phone, he wants to come visit. when i told him i was practicing celibacy, he got quiet and now doesn't call, just sends nice little notes. Whats that about? Where are the men that can handle women who want more out of life than just sex?

WE SHOULD B SO FSR IN2 GOD THAT IT WILL TAKE A MAN OF GOD 2 FIND US, SO B ENCOURAGED MY SISTA I FELL U ON THIS 1.

Woman of God I don't how many times I have heard that same story, and the funny thing is that just today me and a friend of mine was talking about the very thing. Now I guess it can be among women to, however it is usually the man that takes his vow to God so worthless when it come to sex. But what it all boils down to is the flesh has not been crucified, and until that happens he has no control over his lust or to pretty it up his desire to have sex. We need to kill out the flesh bring it under subjection, through fasting and praying. Now I'm not holier than thou but I know what the word of God says.

I have a saying: The flesh is not our friend, it's spoiled, and selfish, and in the end when all is said and done the flesh will leave you holding the bag of your lusts and desires.

That is a plus for you Evangelist Cookie. I don't normally read "secular" books or watch "Oprah" but one show a couple of weeks ago had Steve Harvey on there and I really didn't have a choice in what was on tv, but he was discussing his book. Act like a Lady, think like a man. And was telling all the "secrets" of men. He also went into a chapter called the 90day rule, in how he worked for Ford, back in the day and he had to be on the job for 90 days before he could get the benefits, in the 90 day period they were getting to know him, to see if they wanted to keep him to give him the benefits. And basically telling women, now remember he is speaking in the carnal mind, make him wait 90 days before he get the benefits, we know what the benefits are: your cookie. In the 90 days you are getting to know each other to see if he qualify for the benefits. If he get mad in the beginning and tell you someone else will or stop calling you, you know he doesn't deserve the "benefits"

So in the Spiritual sense, men and women should be on trial, how long is the "90 day trial" until you get married, it is then that the benefits are released.

Take some time to love yourself, and let Jesus lavish His love on you in every area of your life. He will do it. Once you have given in, there becomes a soul tie that they break and you are left devastated and in pain, because you gave up something that is to be sacred. So keep holding out and delete the ones that is approaching you for the same thing.

This is really a great topic, and all the encouragement is edifying, I came in on the end of it but I enjoyed reading all about it.....Let's keep encouraging eachother, we need it as well as eachother.
