Did you know God CHANGED one of His laws? Do you know WHY?

It's true! There is one law and ONLY one that that was changed by God.

The law that was changed was NOT done away with, but two requirements for the law was changed.

To the forum, do you guys know what law God changed? More importantly, do you know WHY the law was changed?

Knowing the answer to these two questions will really help in understanding most of the writings of Paul.

For Paul, in his writings, speaks of TWO sets of laws. The one that was changed, and the ones he kept.

Again the question, Which law did God change and why?

No "pastors" want to take on this question and provide the other readers with an answer? Is not your job to FEED the flock and NOT FLEECE them?
Eccl,

What instruction was changed?
Heb.7
[12] For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.

Do note, the law was not done away with......only changed!

Now the question remains....Why the chnage?

And finally, what ended because of the change?

Bro. Pierce, I'm sure you are aware of the only thing that was nailed to His cross. This post is for the readers that have no understanding.

I'm hoping this question will have them to look and re-read some of Paul's writings. If they do, they will see that from the Heb.7 through Heb.10 Paul speaks of one law, and ONE law ONLY! He is NOT speaking about all 613 laws!

He also got rid of the Levitical Priesthood for a time, but you are right, he only put away one law for good.
Are you considered a priest Hez?
The Levitical Priesthood is dead until the 2nd coming of the Lord. I am a teacher of the Word. The only Priest we have right now is Jesus.
Doesnt the bible say that we are of a royal priesthood?
And wouldnt that be Jesus' ?

At his second coming.
Oh - we are not at this moment? I am going to read that scripture again.
1Peter chapter 2 is talking about Jesus as the High Priest, and about the royal priesthood at his second coming.
The bible says that God never changes, yet you posted that,God changed, whom should we believe?
Heb.13:8-Jesus Christ,the same yesterday,and today,and forever.
God can change His mind, Thank Goodness! Here is one example, of many, where God did not do what He was going to do;

Exod.32
[9] And the LORD said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people:
[10] Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation.

We see here the Lord is so upset with Israel He was ready to consume them all and start over again with Moses. But what happens?

[11] And Moses besought the LORD his God, and said, LORD, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand?
[12] Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, and say, For mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from thy fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against thy people.
[13] Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own self, and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit it for ever.

Moses pleaded with God and reminded Him about His promise He made with Abraham, Issac and Jacob. So what did the Lord do next?

[14] And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.

He thought about it. Cooled off. And decided NOT to do the evil.

Now back to my post; I didn't say God changed. I said He changed a requirement of a law. The law still stands, but God changed two requirements.
