Is The Trinity Biblical?
From the Christian Research Institute

The Trinity is a basic doctrine of orthodox Christianity. Yet the word "Trinity" is not found anywhere in the Bible. Is the doctrine of the Trinity really biblical?
The doctrine of the Trinity says that there is one All Mighty One (God) who exists eternally as three distinct persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. I can assure you that the elements of this doctrine are all taken directly from the Bible.
The first plank of the Trinitarian platform is that there is only one All Mighty One (God). The Bible could not be more explicit on this point, which it states explicitly about two dozen times. In Isaiah 44:8 Yahweh (The LORD) says that even He does not know of any other (mighty ones)gods!
Yahshua (Jesus) often spoke of the All Mighty One (God) as His Father, and the apostles frequently spoke of "the Almighty One (God) the Father." But the New Testament also insists that Yahshua (Jesus) is The Almighty One (God). For example, Thomas acknowledged Yahshua (Jesus) as, "My Lord(master) and my Almighty One (God)" (John 20:28), and both Peter and Paul spoke of Yahshua (Jesus) as "our All Mighty One (God) and Savior" (2 Pet. 1:1; Tit. 2:13). Yet the New Testament also makes the distinction between the Father and the Son as two very different persons. In fact they tell us that they love one another, speak to each other, and seek to glorify each other (e.g., John 17: 1-26).
The Old Testament refers often to the Holy Spirit as The Almighty One (God) at work in the world, without distinction from the Father. But Yahshua (Jesus) in John 14 to 16 explained that this Holy Spirit would be sent by the Father at the Messiah’s (Christ's) request. The Holy Spirit would teach and guide the disciples, not speaking on His own initiative, but speaking on the Messiah’s 9Christ's) behalf and glorifying The messiah (Christ). Thus, the Holy Spirit is revealed by The Messiah (Christ) to be a third person distinct from the Father and distinct from the Son.
In short, the doctrine of the Trinity is completely and totally biblical, and it is essential that all the Followers of the Messiah Yahshua (Christians) give assent to this doctrine.

No sir, you did not hit a nerve, but it seems that I have. You seem to be the one that has the inflammatory responses not I. Also, it seems that you are somehow offended by the scriptures that do support, One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism....

And yes, everyone here knows by now that you are a Theologian because you have made that abundantly clear. And you asked me, What are you? Well my answer is, I AM A CHILD OF THE MOST HIGH GOD.

Last I checked, that is all that is needed. Amen.
Anthony I see Your Saying What EW Said was Wrong about Acts 2:38. Can you Prove this In Scripture?? Or Are you Just Refuting the Fact That YOU CAN PICK AND CHOOSE WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS TO FIT YOUR DOCTRINE OF THE TRINITY? MAtt 28:19 Says In THE NAME of Singular one Name.
And Since you Know the word so well Can You show me where in the new testament church was anyone ever Baptized by repeating the command Father,Son ,Holy Ghost?
I am waiting for a scriptural Answer. Thanks Love in Christ,Della Morton
Carol:Ok Perfect example why the trinity is False. Let's examine this picture above by Caral! Who over shadowed Mary? The Holy spirit right? Well then why does Jesus call His Father and refer to God as the Father. Isn't the Holy Spirit His Father?

Another Question: If the son is not the Holy Spirit (according to the Trinity Doctrine) When why does the Bible say this: John 14:16-18 (King James Version)

16And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
Trinitarians stop here taking this scripture out of context and say see two persons! But they fail to read the next two verses explaining what He Meant!

17Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

If that's not enough He makes it even MORE
Clearer in this NEXT VERSE!
18I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

So Another Words The Holy Spirit is the Comforter and IS Jesus! He said So HIMSELF! He Said I WILL COME TO YOU! Jesus is The Holy Spirit! If your still not convinced than read: Eph.3:16-17 to Confirm this truth. Is Not The Holy Spirit Christ In us THE HOPE OF GLORY?
If he isn't than you need to read your bible again!
IS THE SCRIPTURE BELOW INCORRECT, AND IF SO, WHAT SHOULD BE DONE WITH IT?

Acts 2:38
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Dear sister Mary Jones said:

"...In likeness to our body, soul, and spirit, God has three persons; the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. In death our body, soul, and spirit becomes separate. However, God Who lives forever and forever and is life, He is never separate. He wills Himself in many forms, yet He is ONE. He is the, “GREAT I AM, THAT I AM” (Exodus 3:14).

I will always believe that there is One God, eternally existent in three Persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. The Holy Trinity is not a dark teaching. It is a teaching of light, love, life, and truth. It enlightens many hearts to the knowledge of Almighty God.

It is blasphemous to say what isn’t of God, when it exists in the heavens. God’s Holy exist isn’t predicated on man’s philosophies, misunderstandings, lack of knowledge, beliefs or disbeliefs, He is. I speak as a Christian woman of God grounded and rooted in the WORD OF GOD, who hears the voice of the LORD (Jn. 10:27). I know my Fathers Words and His heart. When I call on the name of JESUS CHRIST, the LORD hears and answers, not Satan or a false god. As sure as the heavens exist, His Holy Spirit is here and His Son, my LORD, and Savoir are soon to come".

What?

"...One God, eternally existent in three Persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit?"

Dear sister Mary Jones, with all due respect, let me tell you that your teaching reveals your total ignorance about the Word of God.

How can one call himself a Christian or a Minister of God, but remains ignorant about who Jesus is?

I still wonder!

Sister, your teaching above which is an exerpt of your blog post proves that you need to be taught.

Please, read my message above, go, and call your teacher for I have something to tell him.

Truly speaking, the latter has led you astray.

Very sad to say, but the reality is there, naked as a bottle!

Young sister, may God enlighten you!

Blessings,

Bro. Germain
One God, but 3 different manifestations. When we view the God head, we have the 3 that are in the Godhead, 1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. The word states that these are one. If you look at the statement that the Apostle says in Colossians 2:9...For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. In who? The Lord Jesus Christ. Now you may say how could this be? You can see it in the baptism Matthew 28:19...Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost

The name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit is the Lord Jesus Christ, if you check your cross reference, Matthew 28:19 cross references to Acts:2:38

The name of the Father is Lord Isaiah 42:8...I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another

The name of the Son is Jesus Matthew 1:21...And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

The name of the Holy Spirit is Christ Romans 8:9...But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Thus we have The Lord Jesus Christ, which is the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. This is pretty cut and dry to me. Not adding to the word at all, neither is it taking away from the word. All I did was present the scriptures
"One God, but 3 different manifestations"

Very good brother, you are on the right path.

God bless you!

Bro. Germain
The Christian God has never been a triune God. This is the comprehension of the Roman Catholic Church and its daughters, the organized churches. Trinidad is not scriptural. No, I say no! Amen!

You cannot divide the unique God into three coequal and coendless persons.

God is one person who manifested Himself of three ways:
- as the only God and Father of everything who is above all
- as the only God came in a body of flesh to save us
- as the only God in us all by the Holy Ghost.
I do not see three persons but different demonstrations of the same God here.
Ephesians 4: 5-6; 1 Timothy 3:16; Matthew 1:23; John 1: 14; Esaiah 9:5; Esaiah 35:4-6 etc.

The Scripture tells us that God was in Christ When Jesus Christ was here on earth, and in Him dwelled the fullness of the Godhead bodily, all the great powers of God was in His Son, Christ Jesus. For the reconciling the world to Himself. Amen!

Bro. Germain
Amen Amen Amen! I have to add you as a friend, God bless you!
Hog wash? why? because you can't explain these scriptures. And you call yourself a theologian? You are puffed up and high minded. This is why you made sure that every knew this about you. theologian is another term for Pharisee. All we did was present the scriptures, What? You disagree with the scriptures we posted? It is what it is.
So True Rest Of God! And Anthony I see Your Saying What EW Said was Wrong about Acts 2:38.

I am STILL waiting for a scriptural Answer. Thanks Love in Christ,Della Morton
I see you like to crack jokes. But still have not given an explanation as to why the Apostles scriptures should not be used. I GUESS WE WILL NEVER GET THOSE.

YOU SAID STEVIE WONDER COULD SEE THE HOLES IN THE APOSTLES DOCTRINE (ONENESS) YET YOU CAN'T POINT THEM OUT.
