People of GOD, I would like to know where you all stand:

I have participated in different discussions and debates about the ordaining of women, different feasts and, Sabbath vs Sunday. All have been heated, and educational for both sides (prayfully). I have this one matter to ask, just to see where the hearts of the BPN are at. We are to go to all the world and preach the Gospel, even to the prisons (Isaiah 61). The question is, after an inmate of the city, state, or even federal prison system converts, can they be ordained to a ministry office for the Gospel (Apostles, Prophets, Missionary, Pastor, ect.)??

I minister in several prisons in (TDC) Texas Dept. of Corrections. My husband is founder of the ministry God gave us. half of our ministry team are ordained ministers that have been delivered and saved in prison. They have emerged victorious in Christ, walked with heads held high into congregations that at first were indifferent, but a new life in Christ seen, can not be be ignored.

Paul and Silas had a witness that some of the others didn't, they knew that God was in the depths of prisons as well as everywhere else. Yes! they can and should be ordained if led by the Holy Spirit and the fruits are evident.
Amen Evangelist!!!! DYNAMIC!

I myself was alone within the four walls of a cell on 24hr lockdown for 40 days and 40 nights when the LORD JESUS came to me. I began to witness and be active within the prisons that I was sent to. I must say two things from my personal experience:

-I was a gang member in prisons full of rivals (even the OFFICERS were rival members!) yet lived in peace, but the moment I said "I am leaving to live for JESUS no matter what" my very life was in danger!
-My greatest opposition within the prison and even when I first came out was the notion of me gaining a "jailhouse religion" instead of a real conversion. I have spoken to people both in and out of jails, saved and non-believers, that can doubt the faith of a current or former prisoner. They understand that once a person gets into major trouble, almost anyone will cry out "oh GOD!" They however, feel that it almost always is just for the moment.

People of GOD, hear me! The LORD will actually have ministers in these last days placed in prison for different reasons to reach the lost locked up. Chaplain service is well, but its like you saved Evangelist: ONLY HALF OF THE MINISTRY!
I tell the inmates I minister to, let not their minds be swayed by talk of "jailhouse religion" until the free world is void of "church house religion" they have no room to talk.

Praise God for your testimony! God puts no one behind bars, HE created us in HIS Image, however the prayers of the righteous availeth much, because of their prayers, mothers, spouses, and children's prayers, God allowed their love ones to be placed in a safe place, where they would hit rock bottom and HAVE to look up!
I would have to disagree with you on one point: GOD DOES actually place people in jail. HE is merciful, but we cannot forget that HE is also wise and just. Justice demands retribution, and if you refuse to allow the blood of JESUS to pay for you, then the bill is all yours to handle. Also, prison can be a seminar for you from GOD if you allow it. I know these two things by experience.
I understand where you are coming from, however, I still according to scripture believe that only sin brings about bondage, wether that bondage be justly or unjustly, it is sin that places one in that position. We do serve a wise God, that takes what the devil mean't for bad and transforms it into good, if and only if we are obedient. I have seen miracles happen for felons.

God will raise up men and women, a remnant that will serve HIM, many of our young men and women are not on a battlefield fighting a manipulated war, they are in bondage fighting a war for their souls. (In and out of prison) When they emerge, they will have a no part of the "civic and social club" church of today. They will be about God's business
Amen
Very true, this is known. Now how about ORDAINING behind bars? Salvation is just stage one....
The word ordained means appoint (appointment) pre-arranged, what God has in store for one is always present, behind bars or not.
