IS THERE AN EXISTING, UNSPOKEN DOUBLE STANDARD FOR WOMEN OF GOD IN LEADERSHIP WHO FALL INTO SIN? WOULD A WOMAN OF GOD, HIGH-PROFILE, WHO YIELDED TO TEMPTATION AND WAS EXPOSED, BE HANDLED OR VIEWED THE SAME WAY AS ONE OF THE BRETHREN?

Greetings, not according to the word of God; sin is sin no matter who commits it! and we know that the word of God declares that"the wages of sin is death" be it spiritual, physical, financial . To answer your question no we as believers first and interns for Jesus have a responsibility to govern ourselves according to His word; and further more we are accountable for how we handle His "Word".

WE KNOW THIS TO BE THE CASE, THEORETICALY, BUT WHAT IS THE ACTUAL REALITY OF THIS SITUATION?
Let me ask you this what happened? Is this a denominational thing because in certain denominations this would be govern differently. If I was in error I would have to deal with consequences of my judgment in making the error. But it would depend on a number of contributing factors that governs the local church, and certain demonminations.
THIS IS A HYPOTHETICAL QUESTION, AND WHAT'S BEING ASKED , IS "WOULD A WOMAN OF GOD OF GOD FOUND TO BE IN THE SAME WIDESPREAD SCANDALOUS, COMPROMISING , UNETHICAL AND IMMORTAL SITUATIONS THAT MEN OF GOD ARE FAR TOO FRQUENTLY FOUND TO BE IN, RECEIVE THE SAME TREATMENT AS THE MEN OF GOD WHO DO THE SAME, REGARDLESS OF DENOMINATIONAL AFFILIATION OR THEOLOGICAL DISPOSITON. IT APPEARS THAT IN SOME CIRCUMSTANCES WHERE MEN OF GOD HAVE SERIOUSLY FALLEN AND BROUGHT SHAME AND REPROACH UPON THEIR CALLING, REPUTATION AND THE MINISTRY OF JESUS CHRIST, VERY LITTLE IF ANYTHING WAS DONE, AND THEY MEVER MISSED A BEAT.
