Are black men and women completely out of control? How low can we go? The stories about us that we hear and don’t hear about our people are getting worse and worse year to year, month to month, week to week and day to day. Why aren’t more of us outraged by these stories? Why have all the things that were once used to control black people failing so miserably? We have a church on every corner in our communities and sometimes two or three on the same block. Why aren’t our Religious leaders able to affect the hearts, minds and souls of the people anymore? Why isn’t Education cultivating and helping the people to evolve into their divine birthright? Can anyone or anything control black people in 2010? Why do we seem to absolutely hate and despise the word “Control” so much? Aren’t black men and women totally out of control here in America? Why are so many black people expecting this to be a long, hot and very dangerous summer? Let’s get into this as we welcome many concerned Black Professionals, Religious Leaders and the general community to our studios to discuss what and who will bring us out of this shameful condition!
