I dont wear a wig or other fake hair but would wearing hair offered to idols be addressed the same way Paul addressed eating food offered to idols, which was:
1 Corinthians 8:
1 Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth.
2 And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.
3 But if any man love God, the same is known of him.
4 As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one.
5 For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)
6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
7 Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.
8 But meat commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse.
9 But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumbling block to them that are weak.
10 For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol's temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols;
11 And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died?
12 But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ.
13 Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend.

Idol is nothing, but many converts who are new in the Faith may not think so. Being accustomed all their life to the idea that an idol is a god (something real), such converts think that, if they eat the food offered to an idol it means eating it as a thing offered to something that is real. And because their conscience is weak, they feel defiled.

Therefore if you being a weak brother is offended at some woman wearing a weave - let her know - maybe she will remove it for you.
Idol is nothing? please explain?
Good points Sis. Tricia.

It is sad that it has now come down to picking hairs. I wouldn't be surprised if we are told the utensils we use to eat and cook with were once used for idol worship!

What's next??????
"...What's next??????.."

And I bet half of the women in their congregation get their weaves tightened every other week.
Its amazing to say the least.
who'e congregation?
It amazes me what is offered to Idols you take so trivial...but yet Abba Yah does not....
You Write" It amazes me what is offered to Idols you take so trivial...but yet Abba Yah does not...."
So why not throw out half of what Rome misconstrued and get to the real teach of Torah basics and refute the rest historically and linguisticly..that will set you free.
Mrs. Harris writes:"What's next??????"

That we realize that there is only G-d and that the Imperial Church of Rome Lied, Lied, Lied.... and misconstrued the original message...second to that ObamaLIED for a bowl of NOBELprize money which he promply invested in the vaccine industry,... Go Fig. ~~~~~~NEXT!!!!!!!
"...second to that ObamaLIED for a bowl of NOBELprize money which he promply invested in the vaccine industry,..."

You leave my Boo alone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
how Obama get into this??? LOL
Actually I think brother you may be on to something.
Necessity is the mother of invention:

Maybe someone could start an industry that does the investigating of where this hair is coming from and make sure that its (for lack of a better word) Kosher. A list could be made and sisters would have the option of only purchasing hair not offered to idols

It may help.
How about the fact that this is going on? and you nor many women have no idea what your putting on YOUR HEAD!!

For health reason, it is absolutely necessary to research where this hair is manufactured and from what source. But does it always have to lead to idol worship?

I do not wear weaves but I'm certainly not against those who do.
