At what point does a person continue in sin to the point that there salvation is lost?

This is a question I asked in a blog about wether or not salvation can be lost and Im waiting on an answer so I decided to ask it hear what say you all?

If you dont understand the question I'll ask it this way, if you believe salvation can be lost my question is at what point does it happen?

And another question I have is what does it mean to continue in sin?

Hi Eccl

Thanks for the lovely scriptures, they are just so upbuilding. Isn't wonderful to read and be reminded of the great saints that exercised their faith, in the face of circumstances.

However faith itself, is not a work of our own, but a gift God given to us.

For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.. Rom 12:3

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God Eph 2:8

With relation to your question, "Will there be more that have FAITH in the word of God, and also die with a 'good report'? I pray I am one of the righteous that die with a good report....how about you?"

For me, I just thank and praise Christ Jesus, for I know that what needs to be done in me, will be done, as He is the author and perfector of our faith. And I can't stop praising God, because the Father made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Christ. Praise God.
The bible tells us we are sealed: Eph 1:13; 4:30; 2 Corinthians 1:21-22. The bible also addresses those who may appear to have fallen away or departed. Hebrews 6:4-6; 1 John 2:18-19.

God gave us His only begotten Son (John 3:16) to pay the penalty for sin that we could not pay. Salvation, therefore, is a gift that is received by receiving Jesus Christ (Romans 10:9-13). Therefore, if it were possible to lose our salvation, then His sacrifice would have been in vain.
If your salvation comes about through a heart filled confession, It can never be lost. why? salvation is a gift of God and Freely given / attained, we cannot Undo what God has done. we must understnad that there are consequences to our sin. aids, poor health, etc. we as Christians , have a Relationship with God. we also have a fellowship with God. Our relationship with God cannot be broken because it is sealed by the blood of Christ Jesus. When we sin our fellowship with hin is broken, thus we must confess and repent of that sin/'sins thus the consequence
