Can anyone tell me about the Spirit of Python

[HOPE - Psalm 43:5]

I've only heard a little bit about this Spirit. Honestly there are lots of Spirits that are talked about today that I have not seen mentioned anywhere in the Bible either directly or indirectly. I just want more info on the Spirit of Python.

What is its purpose?
How does it fulfill its purpse?
How is it recognized?
Is it covert or blatant in its activities?
Is it real or just something people came up with to describe habitual sins or addictive behaviors in their lives or in the lives of others?

We are told to resist the devil and he will flee...what are we told to do with demons and/evil spirits?
