I don't think that there is a christian that hasn't gone through this, I have relatives, that I have not left, but have had to seperate myself from because of their walk, and I did it by not proclaiming with my mouth that I had left but with MY walk in Jesus. Two who don't agree can't walk together.

I've heard the, I can't talk to you anymore, we have nothing in common in more, you're not fun(sinful)anymore. As I'm sure others have.

As far as leaving one in their sin, we can't force anyone to come to God, just minister the word and pray, the many inmates that I come in contact with, some I pray that God take them from my mind, I see their con, and it can vex you if you focus too much on one person. You have to let them go.
I had taken a 2 week sabbatical from my husband and children a few years back and visited family in both Indiana and Missouri. My youngest brother who lived in Missouri (has a different mother) wanted to spend time with me and my family in Michigan. He asked if he could spend the next summer with me and my family. I remember how excited was. He had gotten involved in some things because of our Dad and they didn't agree with my beliefs or lifestyle. My Dad doesn't believe in God and is a member of the Masons. My little brother was going off into left field with him and I was a little nervous about having him come to our home in Michigan.

He was only 16 when he asked to come spend the summer with me. My brother never made it to his 17th birthday. My little sister called me and said that Omar is missing. He had been missing for 3 days when my sister called me again to tell me that Omar was found. He was running for the bus 3 days earlier and dropped dead at the bus stop. He was listed as a John Doe for 3 days until my family got the inclination to call the morgue.

My thoughts were that I should have not allowed my feelings toward my dad to sway my dealings with my little brother. If he had been with me that summer he would maybe still be alive. I could have talked to him about the things he'd gotten involved in instead of putting distance between he and I. Omar being only 16 could have easily been turned away from all that evil stuff put in him by our Dad and turned towards God. All I had to do was offer him a slice of cheesecake and my little brother would listen to whatever I had to say. I got this video of him singing and dancing around to to Poppa was a rolling stone. We all laughed and had so much fun that year but he is now gone. I can't witness to him now. Maybe, I'll post the video one day, but this reminds me yet again of how far the Lord has brought me. If God is willing, I will not let another opportunity go by and not tell those that I love about Jesus, if they don't already know.

I witnessed to my little sister for years and she is now saved, filled with the holyghost and has a saved husband that really loves her. Every chance she gets she thanks me for being a mentor to her.

We as Christians must learn total obedience to God.
Matthew 12:28 ...Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your Name!
Mark 16:17 ... And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out demons...

I grew up going from time to time to the services at the Hegwisch Baptist Church in Highland, Indiana pastored at that time by Win Worley one of the noted deliverance pastors. He wrote a lot of material on the topic of deliverance and was noted as an expert in this area.

We can be seduced to dismissing deliverance ministry if we want to but Demons are active and just as involved as Angels are in our lives. Deliverance ministry is a necessary part of the body of Christ.

We should all be walking in the power and authority granted to us as true believers.

I dare you to stand firm in your Holy Ghost calling on the name of JESUS and watch demons squirm. This internet forum we congregate in is a spirit forum because you have no flesh to interact with and the spirit realm attaches meaning to the words we type. Don't tell me you cannot feel when there is a shift in the spiritual internet atmosphere

Following is a link to a great site that I go to when seeking some real sho- nuff deliverance information.

WARNING: This site is deep.....as always eat the fish and throw-a-way the bones.

Luke 10:17-20 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the demons are subject unto us through thy name.
And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

Walk in your authority People of God.....

Peace & Blessings!

Ree Ree we seem to be on the same track Sis. Click on the above link -- I called it the "not so great Commission" LOL
Hey Sis, We have always been on the same spiritual wavelength...much love.
Question... if you don't say the actual words Yeshua or YHWH, will the demons be subject to you?

Luke 1:17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us THROUGH THY NAME

Where does legalism end and the Spirit began with "deliverance"?
