Did Egyptian Gods Have Influence Upon Christianity?

I know I touched on this before and many of you are already aware. Many of you, like myself, have been researching, off & on, on this matter for years. If not, you can start by reading Egyption Book of The Dead, The Pyramid Text, The Coffin Text, The Hebrew and Greek Old Testaments, The Greek New Testament, Coptic texts and The Writings of The Early Church fathers.

Did Egypt religion & Egyptian Gods have a profound influence upon the later Christian & Islam faith?

Let's start with the Tree of Life the Story of Ausar [Osiris] Auset [Isis] and Heru [Hero - Christ]. The life of Jesus who is compared to the story of Auset, Ausar, and Heru Osiris, Isis, and Horus “Osiris” is the Greek translation of the Kemetian name “Asar” [or Usar] or Ausar, Auset Isis son who was a child king named Heru [Horus]. Isis who was also referred to as the "Queen of Heaven," the personified deity of the Divine Feminine of Ancient Egypt. For thousands of years of Egyptian history, the Pharaoh was believed to embody the reincarnation of Horus, the mythological son of Isis and Osiris. Osiris is the brother, husband, and lover of Isis. The two are believed to be the original rulers of Egypt who brought peace and civilization to its land. The central conflict of the myth of Isis and Osiris begins with Seth, the brother of Osiris, who seeks power over the Egyptian kingdom and Isis for his wife. In order to achieve this, Seth tricks Osiris and traps him in a coffin, which is then sent flowing across the Nile River. Isis finds the coffin and hides her husband's body from Seth. However, when Seth does find the body, he cuts it into pieces and spreads the remains across the land of Egypt. Isis gathers the pieces of her husband and transforms into a hawk before breathing life into the body. Following this act, Isis is impregnated with the future Egyptian heir Horus, the hawk god. This marks Osiris' resurrection and Isis' powers of regeneration, as well as giving birth to the future king of Egypt.Isis, Osiris, and Horus represent a divine trinity that was not uncommon throughout Egyptian mythology. This trinity has been compared to the Christian Holy Trinity, as both contain the elements of father, son, and spirit. The word Christ is Hindu meaning Krishna [Christna] one of the Hindu Gods from, also meaning karast or krist, Egyptian for the annointed mummy, the great black avatar [savior] in India 3000 years before Jesus.

An evolution in the depictions of Egyptian art beginning in the 4th century CE, have revealed the combination of Egyptian mythological elements with Islam, Christianity and Roman influences. Christianized representations of Horus date to the seventh century, linking the representations of Christian and Egyptian mythology. The relationship many compare between Isis and Horus has been compared to Mary and Jesus. Early representations of Isis dating back to 20 BCE, depict the mother cradling her son Horus, an image parallel to later depictions of Mary and the baby Jesus. The story of Osiris' resurrection, which is followed by the passing of the throne from father to son, is often compared to the incarnation of Jesus as the son of God, and his resurrection. The resurrected of Gods can be found among the Khoi and San peoples of southern Africa as early as 5,000BC. It is only in Africa that the story is this old. Often called, “the mouthpiece of Africa,” Egypt’s location gave it contact with the Near East. Not surprisingly, years later the story of the God-King and his divine son appear in many other cultures.

The manifestation of Jesus Christ & the parallels to other resurrected Gods are complex Adonis, Buddha, Dionysus, Krishna, Tammuz, Quetzalcoatl, Iao, Mithra , Orpheus, Ausar, and Heru, Osiris, Isis, and Horus all share more than just complex parrallels .

The answer is No,the True and Living God does not borrower from man. The bible Says that God created all this is, was, or shall ever be. The bible goes on to says that the earth is the Lords and the Fullnes there of. Christanity is the only True religion of God. Lastly God is omnipotent, omnipresent, and omnisicent. So common sense and other wise tells us that pure and undefiled religion is of and from God.
Hi Anthony, I had responded and before I could click it in the whole cheap computer cut off. I am told that my server is being corrupted so an engineer will have to see why. I say it's Satan and his alien forces. God must have something better planned.

Anyway, I'll briefly recap and hope this goes through. The original man and woman passed down the knowledge of the Trinity to Cain and Abel. We know both knew spirituality as that's why they offered up the sacrifice to the God of heaven (Gen. 4).

Spirituality of God was diluted through Cain's sinfulness. He went forth and taught a form of religion that justified him. We know this is the because Lamech followed in his wicked footsteps to justify his evil (Gen. 4:11). We have true spirituality being mingled with false religion.

However, the point is, the glory and story of the Trininity is being passed along in a corrupt version. We then get a corrupt world so much so that all that's left is Noah and his 3 sons, Ham, Shem, and Japheth (Gen. 6)_

Amidst that corrupt world, we learn that fallen angels i.e. Nephillim slept with women (Gen. 6). More lies were digested as fallen angels began to lift up the Queen of Heaven out of hatred of God. The Queen of Heaven as spoken of in Scripture is the various female deities of which the Bible says are really devils in disguise (Ps. 106:37).

So we see false religion is being bred in the spirits, hearts, soul of fallen humanity. After that comes the flood. Humanity amidst the 8 returns to the teaching of true spirituality i.e. the Trinity. They get off the boat and as men began to multiply yet again, here comes satan speaking lies and wonders to humanity. We know this is the case because here comes Babel.

Yes, the tower of babel has men pointing an arrow at God in defiance of the true God. (Gen. 11). God separates their sick carcasses and off each man goes speaking his own language and telling of the true spirituality in their own way. However, it is mingled with false religion but the basic tenets are there.

Since Mizraim who peopled Egypt was one of the first great civilizations they taught the Trinity their way yet mingled it with the satanic goddess worship (Gen. 10:6; 50:11; Ps. 105:22, 27;). So you see, it really isn't an accident that Egypt proclaimed the Trininity in their way. Nor, is it an accident concerning the Sumerian great civilization and the Gilgamesh story concerning the flood. Men as they populated different regions told the basic 'Trinity' and 'Flood' truth but they also lifted up false religion.

Oooh, I'm going to stop here and push this through before it cuts off again then continue. Bear with me, if I can't get back in.

Okay, I'm back , now here's my point, just because Egypt and Sumeria first lifted up the Trinity does not make the Bible a copycat of them for as I've said, it's still the truth as God originally spoke through Adam and Eve.

The fact is, God worked amidst all civilizatons to point them back to Him. As all were/are His children. In fact, 1 Kin. 4:21? when seeking to find a way to describe the greatness of Solomon's wisdom, the best they could was 'likened it to the Egyptian's wisdom' so verifying that God did give Egyptians wisdom and they dis speak eloquent truths amidst deceit.

Elsewhere, Scripture says, in the end time, 'Egypt shall once again stretch out her hand to God' and be forgiven and taken back in. so showing that the Egyptians amidst their version of a Trinity did know the truths of God even if they described it differently or got it wrong.

So bottom line, no the Bible didn't get it's info from Eghpt rather Egypt got parts of it right from the Most High God who was always in control amidst the false religion part.

1. Hebrew Israelites (Yah's people, Yah's way)
2. "Jews" (Call themselves Jews but are not..Took "The Way of Yah and changed it)
3. Christianity (a mixture of pagan worship and the above two)

Both Judaism (Jews) and Christianity BORROWED and claimed pagan worship..Babylonian as well as Egypt..
The word 'Christian" was used way before Messiah was born for those who worshiped the SUN GODS...so I would suggest out dear brother study that first..

When Constantine made "Christianity" the national religion, he could not do that by speaking of the "Torah" or else the people would revolt against him...This is why He MIXED his pagan roots as well as that of others in order to please the paganisms..
.

MYBY if it's on youtube than it's not a secret. I really didn't care for that video. There are better youtube videos out there.
Sure there are better ones but it's still the truth....and it's to bring a point that the Gentiles will come and say that "our fathers have inherited lies", they may not know the spiritual significance involved but that is why we are to "Teach all nations"...Giving or getting truth is not about what you like...it's about truth PERIOD...

Shalom off to work..
MYBY, that's a good point. Have you seen this movie yet?
It's called The 9/11 Chronicles: Part One, Truth Rising. It's 1:55:06.
MYBY tell me what you think, if you haven't seen it.

Yours truly,

Brother Watson, you make great points, the Ten Commandments given by God to Moses on the top of Mount Sinai are clearly set in Egyptian tradition and would seem to have common roots with the Egyptian Book of the Dead. Except for the first two commandments, we find the same moral rules in the Hebrew Bible that are also found in the Egyptian hieroglyphic writings. Many folks don't research enough to understand that Christian beliefs evolved because Jews borrowed many of their laws and beliefs from the early Babylonians, the Phoenicians, the Canaanites, and from the Egyptians. There is evidence, such as ancient quotations, which reveal the inspirational sources of the Bible. Take the Mosaic law, which was inspired by a law from the Eshnunna Code. Kemetic Orthodoxy teaches belief in two things: a Being and a Process, the process sometimes being personified as one aspect of the Being. We call the Being, Netjer, or God, Which can in turn be identified by any number of its names, or forms; and the Process, Ma'at.

I really don't mean any disrespect to any body that believes in their religion or faith either, but what Brother Watson is speaking about is just the point I'm trying to make. Most black Christians just read the Bible and although they have the bible memorized and they understand the biblical scriptures, that's all they have, they don't have any documents or scribes, they are not scribers, they really don't research anything but books from a Muslim or black book store or they join these masonic organizations and study from their ritual book and think they know the wonders of the word, there is no secrets in those books. Most folks are quick to criticize, and I'M NOT SPEAKING ABOUT MEMBERS ON THIS BOARD, but most folks have no connection with Babylonian, Hebrew or Egyptian research they just shout Jesus, Jesus, Jesus and anybody that bring something else to the table they curse it, many of them same folks referee to the American constitution as God words & a sin to brake or challenge them.

I speak in the light of christanity in that. Only through your acceptence of Christ Jesus. As your Lord and Saviour will give you eternal life. True religion is a metaphor for religion in that sense it never saved anybody. On that glorious day we will see people of many different religious names. As far as books our primary and foremost book must be the Bible, aided by the Holy Ghost. When i speak of the church, I speak of people, flesh and blood. there is no other book, word, or thought to be even compared to the word of God {bible]. I understand we use other books for historical information etc. Yet to put it in line with the infalliable word of is Blasphemy. I know whom I believe, and I believe in him ,and in the power of his ressurection. The difference betwen you and i ,is that I get my
understanding. From the word of God [bible] through prayer and the unction of the Holy Ghost. As you state in your own words you got over standing, from him that is not of God.....Take care.
