DO YOU HAVE TO "GO THROUGH" BEFORE GOD CAN USE YOU?

I had an individual who on multiple occasions would ask for prayer on Sunday. His prayer was a prayer of thanksgiving. He would say, "I just want to think God that he has kept me from having to go through anything of consequence or of any real significance."

Well, this does not line up with the word of God. After that, I had to start keeping one eye on him/her. If you are not "going through" God is not going to use you to minister his word. 1 Peter 1:7, "That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:"

Yes, after this guy kept coming to me with the same praise report, I discerned that he was working for the devil. Basically he was mocking me because I was "going through." The thing about it is that you wouldn't know that I was "going through" unless I told you. The joy of the Lord is my strength.

There are some people who want you to know every time they are "going through." They are looking for sympathy and empathy from other people. True saints of God know that when they are going through that they are stilled blessed of God. Let the truth be told, true saints are most likely living better than those who are trying to mock them.

How could he be mocking you if you don't show outwardly what you're going through? Maybe God just knows he isn't very strong yet, and shields him from trouble in this season of his life. Or maybe he is going through hellacious situations right now, but sees it as nothing much (now, that would be GREAT grace).

Discernment: the quality of being able to grasp and comprehend what is obscure : skill in discerning. Most people do not realize that there are people who are employed and work for the devil. You already understand that God has structured and set up his church (kingdom), the kingdom of darkness is also structured, well-organized, disciplined and works together most of the time better than the church.

I am not able to expound on this topic in great detail here on BPN. Most people would think that I am crazy if I was to elaborate on this subject matter. They would rather hear about and discuss "sowing seed" and "break through season." 2 Corinthians 2:11, "Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices."

Acts 13:9, "Then Saul, (who also [is called] Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him,"

Acts 13:10, "And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, [thou] child of the devil, [thou] enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?"

Acts 13:11, "And now, behold, the hand of the Lord [is] upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand."

You do propose viable suggestions (scenarios) for this person's behavior. However, neither are valid in this specific instance. Keep in mind that God will show his agent all that he/she needs to see and accompolish in order to fulfill their specific task for his general plan. The key is waiting for a confirmation from God because the devil will also show you alot of stuff attempting to set brother against brother.
