GUNS IN THE CHURCH

In a day when people are now coming into the church and assaulting leaders, is there a need for security or self-defense training for the leaders in your church?

What security measures has your church taken (if any)??

Wow Evg. Fugett, I had not heard that about with Bishop Patterson.

I know a Pastor who has plain clothes armed security guards. If you don't know who they are you would never know. I remember watching one of them one day. I couldn't put my finger on what was different about her. The way she moved about was different...I people watch a LOT. I found out she was an armed guard at a women's meeting when I sat next to her. I just came out and told her what I observed and asked her what she did for a living. That is when she told me she was a prison guard and a plain clothesed guard for the pastor.

I thought to myself... What happens to the congregants if there is a shootout ??

I mean when guns go a blazin at OK Corale Missionary Baptist Church of the Risen Savior....will the armed congregants set it off also???
