My Pastor wants our church to do a corporate fast during Lent and I am seeking fresh ideas and insight.

TOTAL 24 Hour Juice Fast Regimen

In addition to juices, drink as much water as you like

Upon Waking
Drink 2 cups of cool water followed by 1 cup hot herb tea like dandelion or chamomille with lemon

Morning Exercise
Before you consume any nutrients, do 20 minutes of exercise; stretching, walking or light jogging is recommended

Breakfast

Juice Master's Turbo Express:
In a blender, whip 1 ¼ cups apple juice, ½ cup unsweetened pineapple juice. 1/3 cup Bolthouse Farms Vedge Juice (available at grocery stores), ¼ ripe avocado and a few ice cubes until smooth.

1 ¼ cups apple juice
½ cup unsweetened pineapple juice
1/3 cup Bolthouse Farms Vedge Juice
(any brand vegetable juice)
¼ ripe avocado

Mid Morning

Lemon Ginger Zinger:
Combine in a blender, whip 1 cup carrot juice, 1 cup apple juice, 1Tbs. lemon juice, 1 tsp chopped fresh ginger root and a few ice cubes until smooth
1 cup Fresh Carrot juice or Bolthouse Farms Carrot juice
(or any brand bottled carrot juice )
1 cup apple juice,
1Tbs. lemon juice,
1 tsp chopped fresh ginger root (I substitutes ginger cubes)

Lunch
Enjoy another serving of Juice Master's Turbo Express


Late Afternoon
1 ½ cups apple juice,
1 Tbs. lemon juice


Dinner
Combine in a blender 1 cup apple juice, ½ cup Bolthouse Farms Vedge Juice, 2 Tbs. unsweetened pineapple juice and 1 tsp lemon juice. Serve over ice.
1 cup apple juice

2 Tbs. unsweetened pineapple juice
