Is Sin Inevitable?

From the pews to the pulpit, mis-dealings and inappropriate behavior seem to be running rampant within the Body of Christ.  Lay-members and leaders alike are being found in behaviors that can only be classified as conduct unbecoming of an Ambassador of Christ.  Instead of repenting and turning from such behaviors, many are simply justifying their actions.

This leads me to ask the question: Is sin inevitable?  Do we as believers of the Most High possess the ability to truly walk victorious over sinful behavior or are we destined to fall to our sin nature?
