A famous atheist, Robert Ingersoll, who rejected the Bible once said:

"The inspiration of the Bible depends on the ignorance of the one who reads it." Had Ingersoll taken the time to examine the Bible himself, he would have found abundant evidence to support the claim that the Bible is indeed divinely inspired. Unfortunately many people today also reject the Bible without actually examining it for themselves. Are you one of them?

We shall focus on some of the scientific evidence in the Bible that show that the Bible is divinely inspired No scientifically testable statement recorded in the Bible has ever proven to be inaccurate.. Even though the Bible is not a textbook on science, it records many scientific truths about the earth and the universe many hundreds of years before scientists confirmed them experimentally. How did such scientific foreknowledge get into the Bible? Were these merely lucky guesses or information pointing to the supernatural origin of the Bible?

Many statements contained in the Bible were so in advance of the times that some critics actually considered them to be proof that the Bible contained scientific errors. However as research continued it was found that the Bible statements were indeed accurate and the critics wrong.

How can we possibly account for the fact that the Bible has in it recorded scientific truths centuries in advance of their times even though none of the writers were scientists or have access to the specialized scientific instruments that we now have? Furthermore the information they recorded were not the accepted beliefs of the people living in the very ages in which they wrote. Surely the only logical explanation for such scientific foreknowledge in the Bible is that such information was supernaturally revealed to these people who were especially chosen by God to write His book.

Indeed the scientific foreknowledge in the Bible is one of the most remarkable proofs of its divine origin and inspiration. Dr. Henry M. Morris has well stated that: " One of the most arresting evidences of the inspiration of the Bible is the great number of scientific truths that have lain hidden within its pages for thirty centuries or more, only to be discovered by man's enterprise within the last few centuries or even years."
