Moved by Tradition or by the Spirit

I have recently in the past 4 months moved my membership to a new church. I moved because I was instructed by the Spirit of God. I moved from the church where my family has been a member for years, grandmother is church mother, my mom is over pastor's aide, my uncle is treasurer and deacon and I was over the youth choir. It is a larger church but I was there because it was a tradition for my family to be there.

How do you feel about being moved by the spirit to change your location or simply staying because of the tradition?
